So I've been doing this countdown for the past two or so weeks and here are the results! Overall I'm very happy with them and think that they're pretty predictable for the most part. Thanks to everyone who participated and commented in the polls, your comments were very helpful! :D

11. Merida

It was oblivious going to be Merida or Ariel this round. Ariel got more votes, but Merida got more comments. People said that it was unforgivable that she tried to alter her mom in any way whatsoever, and others just said that she's simply the worst role model of the bunch.

"The reason Merida wanted to fix her problems was because her mom was turned into a bear, if the spell turned out her way she wanted, I doubt she would have done anything about it. Wanting to change your mom is a little bit wrong on its own IMO o.O" -dimitri_

"Merida does became a good role-model towards the end of the movie and it's great that she tried to fix the mess she made, but I think that giving a potion to change your parent is unacceptable, unless they're abusive. And I don't like how she seemed to care more about calling off the marriage than her mother's health." -Silverrose1991

10. Ariel

As I said, it was obvious from round one who the bottom two would be. People said that she's reckless and irresponsible. Others said that Merida still deserved to be here as Ariel never really admits her mistakes, and doesn't seem to be sorry about them.

"Merida should still be here but Ariel is a big time yeah" -princecatcher93

"Ariel by far.

Not because she "changed herself for a man" (which I think is asinine because she ALREADY wanted to change BEFORE she saw him) but because of her personality. Irresponsible, immature, reckless, selfish, inconsiderate, doesn't think about the consequences of her actions, doesn't care when her actions negatively affect others(*cough*herfamilyandSebastian*couugh*), and doesn't feel any gratitude when others risk themselves to help her. (Seriously, after nearly getting KILLED because he agreed to stay on land and help her woo the prince, Sebastian says words to the effect of "I hope you appreciate what I do for you!" and she blows him off. Yeah, why would she appreciate anyone risking their lives for her?)

Most of all, she doesn't learn from or regret any of her actions hurting others. (After her father takes her place because of the deal she made, Ariel doesn't take a moment to say "My God, what have I done?" She blames only Ursula with "You monster!" Ursula may be an evil cheating witch, but Ariel still knew she was evil going in, knew the risks, and signed the contract anyway. She shares responsibility for what happens to her father, but never accepts it.)

To those who say Ariel's "change" only affects herself and not others... I have to disagree. Ariel choosing to change herself still affects others as disappearing to the surface would worry and break the hearts of her family and get Sebastian in trouble with her father, which she doesn't care about. As long as Ariel gets what Ariel wants, everyone else can twist in the wind for all she cares." -Tygers_Eye

9. Jasmine

Again, this was a bit of a landslide, though for many people this was where it started getting more difficult. People said that she can be too rash and quick to make decisions. Though some felt that she was a good role model for standing up for her rights and never wavering in her morals.

"Jasmine has plenty of good moments, but she is too quick to judge people and situations, leading her to be reckless sometimes. she's also impulsive and can be disrespectful." -AudreyFreak

"She's very quick-thinking and it was admirable that she forgave Aladdin, but she was a bit selfish in leaving the palace, since she knew she had to be queen one day. But I can't really blame her, though." -Silverrose1991

8. Snow White

Those that voted for her said that it was wrong of her to let strangers in her home. They also said it was wrong to go into someone else's home and just start sleeping without knowing who lives there. Others (including me) thought that she was a very good role model despite this and that it was good that she always stayed in such high spirits.

"Don't let strangers in!" -Beastlysoul25

"Oh gosh, such a hard choice. I love how Snow White understands that it's important to make the best out of every situation, but the fact that she never actually reaches for her dream puts her lower than the other princesses imo." -MaidofOrleans

7. Aurora

Those that voted for Aurora said that she was passive, cries too much, and doesn't stand up for herself when put in the situation with Phillip. Some thought she was an amazing role model due to her selflessness and duty, but others just thought of it as not being strong enough to rebel.

"She is passive. She went with the fairies because she felt like she had no choice to and instead of sticking up for herself, she just cried (because of not seeing Phillip. Not because her life was a lie). She has some good qualities, but she does not seem like much of a strong person who can handle much without bursing into tears." -Jayden-G

"Not being strong doesn't make someone less good of a role model to me. Not that Aurora is mentally weak but I don't see her as one of the strongest (which is okay). She is obedient and kind but she shows lack of backbone and I don't see her as one of my role models. And I can't see her as a GREAT role model for girls today, as I've said, we all have to work hard to get what we deserve and being kind won't truly get you rewarded." -dimitri_

6. Belle

Here's where it started getting interesting. At this point, the majority agreed that all the princesses left are great role models, and if Rapunzel or Cinderella got one more vote they would have been out at opposed to Belle. Those that voted simply said that she doesn't really think things through or appreciate what she has.

"No! Please not Cinderella! She's possibly the best.
Belle is a great role model for the most part. However she doesn't appreciate what she has in the beginning. " -MalloMar

"Anyways, Belle doesn't look before she leaps." -princecatcher93

5. Rapunzel

This was another very close round. If Pocahontas or Cinderella would've gotten one more comment they would've been out. People said that the movie never really shows anything she does in a negative light, even trusting a stranger like Flynn and disobeying her mother.

"Yeah Pocahontas is annoyingly indecisive. She mopes around way too much and that just leads to unfortunate things. And yeah she disobeys her father running off to see John Smith. But I think she has really admirable traits, she teaches us to accept others and teaches us that hatred leads no where. She does try to do the right while wanting to choose her own path at the same time.

Rapunzel is proactive, multi-talented, grows out of her insecurities and stood up to Gothel in the end but I don't really like how the movie portrays things. Nothing she ever does is really seen as bad, even disobeying her mom and trusting a wanted thief (while blackmailing him). I also don't find it as admirable when she has too many unbelievably amazing traits (again, IMO).

So I personally see Pocahontas teaching people it's okay to make mistakes, while it's kind of the other way around with Rapunzel." -dimitri_

"Rapunzel has to go!" -Silverrose1991

4. Pocahontas

Pocahontas left by a landslide this round. Most people just said she's simply the worst of the four left, or that her indecisiveness wasn't very good. That was about the only point made about her...

"What? I kept checking and still missed the last rounds...there are too many polls here.....
Either way, I was already voting for Pocahontas way back. I don't think he inability to make decisions or the tendency to base them on "signs" is a good example." -Swanpride

"Adios, indecisive lady Pocahontas." -awkwardanna (Disappointing she deactivated her account..)

3. Cinderella

I'm very happy with this top 3, and think they're all extremely deserving. Some people had been trying to vote out Cinderella since the early rounds, giving arguments like "Oh she should have ran away" or something along the lines of that. Most admired her positivity throughout the bad times, but thought she was simply the worst out of the few left.

"It's not that her herself is a bad role model, it's just that the movie wasn't clear with portraying the whole thing that she has tried fighting back but after years she decided to just continue wishing rather than wasting her time." -shanyuisboss

"So happy Cinderella made it this far, though I think it's her time to go. She might be a little too accepting?" -dimitri_

2. Mulan

This round was close. And when I say close, I mean it. Both girls got 8 comments a piece, so I had to go by percentages. 54 to 46. All agreed that both are amazing role models, but those that voted for her condemned her for her recklessness and everything going too perfectly.

"Mulan because she doesn't plan for anything and because she lives in the Disney Life, everything works out fine. It kind of makes people think that they can just wait to the last second and everything will work out for them. Also she kind of overacts to things just a bit, I know that her father was going off to war but you didn't need to have all those outbursts at him." -princecatcher93

"Tiana is much more cautious. She makes sure she has a game plan before doing anything, she does her best, she stands up for herself without being rude (not that Mulan doesn't do the latter two things but Tiana is just better at it). Mulan can be... reckless, and if we're judging the other princesses as bad for being reckless, Mulan should also be fairly judged for that, too." -AudreyFreak

1. Tiana

Tiana is the winner! And a very deserving one, at that. Some thought that maybe she works a bit too hard, but her determination and hard work despite all her struggles (racial struggles, not being able to hang out with friends) is very admirable.

"For me Tiana is the best role model." -SirenLamia

"Both are the best IMO" -prussiaducky

So that's that! Thanks for reading everyone and thanks again to everyone who participated in the countdown! Oh and just pretend there's witty comments under all the pictures...I was way too tired to try and come up with any. How do you feel about the results? :)
It's been 4 years since I last made a princess list and I feel that it needs an update. Unlike my earlier duration on fanpop where I could never keep my list constant, my list has stayed pretty much consistent over time since my original departure. It's difficult for me to make favorite princess lists, not because of being so negatively opinionated, but actually because I genuinely like all of the princesses.

11. Rapunzel
The Pisces
The Pisces

Rapunzel has a quality I find frustrating and regrettably common in modern heroines- she's endearingly quirky. It irks me because I think there is a societal...

The Disney Princesses are usually have some beautiful and iconic dresses. In this article I would share my list of favorite Disney Princess wardrobes.
I don't include some undergarments, undone dress (ex: Ariel's sail outfit), and some that I don't count as an outfit like Ariel's mermaid attire.
Credit goes to link's article of link for ideas of rate each princess' dress.
Anyway, here's my list, started from least to most favorite :)

11. Tiana

Tiana has a lot of clothes out of all Princesses, but a lot of dresses doesn't make me like them. Most of her outfis consist of yellow and green, which were...

I actually got this idea from disnerdtobe, who got this idea from anukriti, and I actually want to do the same, since I have a lot of princesses I relate to. That being said, this will be very hard, but keep in mind, these are princesses I myself relate to. It is also set up a little differently than disnerdtobe's

Not Relatable

Making up a majority of this part of the list are Golden Era princesses. I think they were relatable to the girls in their time period which I think is why I personally don't relate to them. That isn't to say that there aren't people who relate to these princesses-...

Disney love songs.
Disney love songs.
Hi guys, since I love traveling, I would like to write down some nice cities on which the Disney Princess and their respective princes will fall in love with since Valentine's Day is coming soon.

1. Manchester, England, UK

Snow White and Prince Ferdinand will definitely love this city, it is very country-oriented and Snow White will consider this as her second home!

2. Milan, Italy

Since France is a neighbour to Italy, Cinderella will carry her duties with Prince Kit by making her first official state visit there. They will definitely love this city even more than Paris.

3. Prague, Czech Republic...

We wish you a Merry Christmas!
We wish you a Merry Christmas!
So, imagine if all of the princesses gather together on Christmas Eve and here are the lists of famous carols or any songs that are Christmas related from famous Christmas films.

1. Believe (The Polar Express)

I absolutely adore this song from the film, it was originally sung by Josh Groban but was later covered by Jackie Evancho. The lyrics has a message about believing during Christmas especially.

2. As Long as There's Christmas (Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas)

Since this is Belle's song, the other princesses can join in as the chorus or they could 'echo' her words when she sings...

Hello guys!! To those who recognize me, I hope you're all doing well! I've been busy with college apps and life in general, but I've been well! To those who don't, nice to meet you! I used to frequent this site a couple years ago. :) Anyway I'm just going to go straight into the review! There won't be any large plot type spoilers, but if you want to go in knowing absolutely nothing, I would recommend not reading!

~~~~~~~
I just got home from seeing this beautiful film and I need to let out all my feelings somewhere, but hopefully this will be somewhat coherent and not come across as a giant rant...
Now a lot of you are probably thinking, 'bluethunder25 Gothel can't be redeemed because first of all, she was 'too evil,' and two, she died from old aging and turned to dust.
Well as you know, I've stated in previous articles that I don't feel Gothel is entirely evil. As for the second one, if Gothel did in fact turn to dust, then I say, that means she has a good chance to come back to life which also means she has a good chance of a redemption. How? Allow me to explain.
Now first of all, before you all freak out, no, Gothel's redemption won't be overnight, in fact, for Gothel's redemption arc,...
