For a family friendly company. Disney really knows how to make a decent villain, so much to the point where they're most interesting character in the movie. This countdown was hard because, with one obvious exception, all the Disney villains are good at what they do.

10.Governor Ratcliffe
Needless to say, he's the obvious exception. He is so pathetic and stupid, I can't stand him. He can never do anything right. His most memorable moment involves being covered in glitter, oh that's very menacing. He's just a racist ambigiously gay dumbass. He's less of a villain and more like a cheap laugh. He's kinda funny, I guess but he's a terrible villain.

9.The Queen
She set the bar for pretty much every villain that has followed. Like all the characters in SWATSD she's not really complex but still she's very ruthless. She wants nothing more than to see her 14 year old stepdaughter killed and keep her heart as a soveneir, that's pretty evil. But at the same time, she's not very bright and she's obviously insecure.

8.Mother Gothel
The only villain that I find somewhat attractive. She actually had good reason for her evil doings. She doesn't want to rule anything, she just doesn't want to die. We sympathize with her, that makes her a good character but in a way, a less interesting villain. I prefer the more vicious and ruthless bad guy, she's only evil when provoked. Plus, she's pretty annoying.

7.Dr.Facilier
Visually, he's an amazing character and he has one of the most awesome villain songs but he's really just a screw up. He doesn't have any actual accomplishments and he's very sloppy with his planning, much like the movie itself. Sorry, but spectacular magic and a kickass musical number can only get him so far.

6.Lady Tremaine
I know what some of you are thinking, why rank her so high when she barely did anything and has no powers. Well, I honest to God have no clue why I like her so much. I mean, look at that face.

5.Gaston
Honestly, I don't know if I consider him a villain. He's really just a spoiled brat who gets pissy the minute he doesn't get what he wants. But he's so manipulative, he has the entire town wrapped around his fingers. One flex of his muscles and they obey his every command. Granted the townspeople seem to be even more dimwitted than he is.

4.Jafar
Even though, I find him to be creepy in a sex offender kinda way, he is an awesome villain. I love how resourceful he is, I love how sneaky and smooth he is. He's even more cool when he becomes a sorcerer. There's nothing better than a villain who craves power. The only thing keeping him out of the top three is his irritating sidekick Iago and his annoying puns.

3.Shan Yu
Okay, this dude kinda scared me as a kid. He's definitely one of the more brutal villains. He probably has the highest body count. Where as other villains have magic spells and tricks, up their sleeves. He has an entire army of people who are just as cruel and vicious as he is. But there's one thing that sets him apart from the others, he's actually efficient and knows what he's doing.

2.Maleficient
Some people say she's overrated but I don't think so. She's kinda cockoo but she's also sophisticated, she has a petty motive but she'll go to great lengths to get revenge. Like Tremaine it's hard to pinpoint why exactly I like her. She's like a mean girl in high school, constantly picking on people for no reason, that makes for a pretty cool villain. She's awesome but there's someone even better.

1.Ursula
Do I really need to explain why she's awesome. She's smart, hilarious and downright evil. She was always one step ahead in her planning. From manipulating Ariel to hypnotizing Eric to taking over Triton's power. She know how everything was gonna play out and dealt her cards carefully. I might even call her an evil genius. And don't even get me started on her alter ego, Vanessa, smoking hot disguise. She's the only villain that I find funny and intimidating at the same time, not to mention she has the best villain song. Ursula is an excellent villain and if it wasn't for Scar and Frollo, she'd be the best in Disney History.

Sorry this is so late!

I love how she just barges in and takes over the dwarfs' lives. She comes in, starts bossing them around, and runs that cottage like a business. It's freaking hilarious! XD -MaidofOrleans

Something people credit Belle a lot for that I never see them do for Snow- she doesn't care at all about appearances. She's surprised to see the Dwarfs because presumably she never has seen any before (also, she just woke up to see a bunch of strangers anyway). She doesn't laugh at them or think they're freaks for being different. And of course the hag. Snow looks past her scary appearance...

On the Eleventh Day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Eleven birds-a-flying

Ten Spices Boiling
Nine Ships are sailing
eight mice a-sewing
seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree

I can't express enough how much I agonized over this one. The one thing I knew from the get go was that I wanted to use this picture and none other for the calendar. It was the one which inspired me to search for murals and use them as motive.

But the holiday was the thing which really threw me into a loop, mostly because...
