I was out hiking in the woods with a few friends of mine, when we all got lost and accidentally split up. Unfortunately, I got myself into the middle of the forest, and now I have NO idea how to get home.
For about an hour or so, I sat on a stump, praying that my friends would find a chopper and pick me up.
Pfft. Some friends I have.
Suddenly, a dark figure was walking toward me. She had beautiful, long black hair, and was wearing a skirt that went over her knees--bad clothing for the forest.
I took my notepad out of my backpack and set it on my knees.

Me: You're Pocahontas, right?

Pocahontas: *nodding* Yes. Are you lost?

Me: *sighing* Yes, but I don't want to waste time. Do you mind if I interview you?

Pocahontas: *sitting down on the ground* Sure you can.

Me: *flipping through notepad* From my research, I hear that you like jumping off cliffs. Are you suicidal?

Pocahontas: *gaping* No, never! I jump for the fun of it. I love the wind in my hair!

Me: If you hadn't gotten married, would you consider being a daredevil?

Pocahontas: Well, my father won't allow it.

Me: *writing* Ooh, you're a daddy's girl, aren't you?

Pocahontas: Of course. I love my father very much.

Me: *scoffs* I barely see mine.

Pocahontas: *clicking tongue* That's sad.

Me: Why did you marry John Rolfe when it was JOHN SMITH whom you fell in love with?

Pocahontas: I guess things change.

Me: But why would you leave a hot, blonde man that loves the thrill of adventure for a goody-two-shoes?

Pocahontas: It's hard to understand. Sometimes you love someone, but then you meet someone else and love them even MORE.

Me: *muttering* Glad I'm not in a relationship.

Pocahontas: You don't believe in the power of love?

Me: No....

Pocahontas: *grabbing me by the shoulders and starts to shake me* Are you MAD? There's nothing more powerful than LOVE!

Me: *screaming* WHY ARE YOU SHAKING ME?!

Pocahontas: *letting go* Sorry, sometimes I go so overboard, I hardly notice.

Me: *glaring* Do the other princesses ever visit you here?

Pocahontas: Well, the only one who's ever visited me here was Mulan, because she wanted to be in a peaceful place for her fighting.

Me: Are you ever jealous of the other princesses because they have a house and you don't?

Pocahontas: *shaking head* Nope. I'm perfectly happy right now.

Me: Wow. I can NOT be happy living out in the woods.

Pocahontas: *frowning* Why not? The forest is very beautiful.

Me: How could you stand the bear droppings all around? And how you don't have a bathroom? And what about those freaky demon squirrels who watch you when you sleep?

Pocahontas: You watch too many scary movies, don't you?

Me: Yes, yes I do. Would you ever agree if someone called you a hippie?

Pocahontas: Well, yes, because hippies believe in peace and so do I.

Me: By far, you're the hippiest princess ever.

Pocahontas: Why, thank you.

Me: That wasn't a compliment.

Pocahontas: *starting to walk away* Good luck getting out of here.

Jeez, was it something that I said? These princesses need a reality check, like pronto.

Comment if you want more!! :D

I've already made an article like this for my top 7 (link, link, link, link, link, link, and link), and thought it was about time to make one for my eighth, Jasmine. Despite Jasmine's "low" place, I really, really love her! If you don't include Anna and Elsa on my list, she's actually sixth. I've really been warming up to Jasmine lately, moving her slowly out of my bottom 5 and there's a possibility that she could move up even higher. This will be a scene-by-scene review, so it may get quite long. So let's get started with the article!

We're introduced to Jasmine with a bit of a bang. I love...

I know everyone and their grandma has written one of these, but I have yet to write my official list until now, and I swore I was never gonna do one of these. For some reason, I just couldn't sit down and nit-pick about who I liked the most or who I like the least. But now I've finally broken down and forced myself to sit down and sort this crap out (Even thought I have much better things that I should be doing right now...) BUT ANYWAYS, the order of this list has been bouncing around in my head for months and I've been over-analyzing every frickin' princess. So, if you haven't gotten sick...

The Little Mermaid is a 2023 live-action film that's a remake of 1989's Little Mermaid animated film. Live-action Disney remakes have gotten a lot of mixed reception. They tend to make lots of money, but they also tend to get mixed reviews. When it comes to the remakes, I've enjoyed a fair number of them. I didn't care for some of them, such as Aladdin, Lady and The Tramp and Mulan. However, there have been some remakes that I enjoyed, such as Cinderella, Dumbo and both Maleficent films. Also, the live-action Disney Alice in Wonderland films are two of my favorite films.

Mermaids are something...

The first Frozen film made such a big impact on me that I became very excited for a sequel. The sequel ended up coming out about six years after the first film. This was because the makers of Frozen planned on Frozen being a standalone story. However, after coming up with an idea that they thought was good enough, they decided to make a second film. I'm so glad that they made the decision to do that.

In the second film, Elsa has started hearing a mysterious voice. She attempts to find out where the voice is coming from. In the process of doing so, she gets into contact with the spirits of the...

Frozen is a Disney animated film that I kind of like. When I say kind of, what I actually mean is that I love it! It's a film that I've seen more times than anybody probably should. I used to watch this film more than once a week. It's a film that quickly grew quite the fanbase. I was certainly one of those fans that quickly got attached to the film.

Frozen centers around the bond between two princess sisters, who are named Anna and Elsa, that go on quite a unique adventure. Elsa was born with ice powers, but she's been ordered to keep that a secret. However, when Anna attempts to marry a prince...

Mulan is considered a Disney princess and I find that ridiculous because if Mulan is a Disney princess why not Elsa and Anna? Mulan has the characteristics of a hero and a princess, but there is a reason that prevents her from being a princess.
Although she is friends with an emperor, that does not make her a princess. Either she would be a royal by birth, or she would marry a prince and earn the title of princess. Being a hero doesn't make a princess, does it? This is really silly. There are a lot of other female characters at Disney who do great heroics, but they're not even one step closer to being princesses. What a great injustice. What a pity. While I love Mulan, Mulan is overrated.
So...I begin this by saying that I am an adult fan of Ariel. Impacted by The Little Mermaid from the age of 9, I am an adult collector, and I currently have Ariel ALL OVER my adult bedroom.

I commend author Liz Braswell on her "nods" to the elements found in the original 1989 film that is known world over. Some passages of the book she has written made sense to me, while other parts did not. *Eric getting a tattoo was not one of my stand-out favorite moments, and it jarred with all of the proceeding characterization given to him by the author*

I suppose, for those who didn't love Ariel's original...

I haven't written an article for two days, let's say I couldn't finish it. Actually, I had an article for you that ranked princess hair from worst to best, but I thought you might not like it. So I have a better idea. This article is about changing the colors of Rapunzel and Ariel. Their hair, lips and eyes.

I actually love their color palettes/some of my favorite princesses/, and I'm writing this article just for fun. Let's start with Rapunzel.

Naturally, Rapunzel has golden hair and green eyes. But now let's try Ariel's color palette. Let Rapunzel have red lipstick, red hair, and blue eyes....

I LITTERALLY just got done watching the movie, and I must say-I was pleasantly surprised. Disney really got creative with this one. I see it winning some Academy Awards next year. That was just a bit of what I thought all together. Now, let's get to the real deal.

The animation:

I like how they used what looked like some 2D animation in the beginning and during some parts of the movie. It gives, not only me, but I'm sure a bunch of you, hope that 2D animation isn't dead. I also liked how they all these rainbow like colors when the dragons get resurrected. (Am I the only one who was obsessed with...
