I remember visiting this website once...
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Your current IP address 184.105.132.117 has been blocked
You may be on a network that was blocked due to malicious traffic from that network. If that is the case this is not at all your fault. You just have some bad neighbors. Please send an email including your IP address to ipbans (at) gamespot.com (for gamespot, giantbomb and comicvine) and we\'ll look into it. We\'re really sorry for the hassle
You are making WAYYYYY too many API requests or your API requests have run off the rails
If that\'s the case, please stop doing that and send an email including your IP address to ipbans (at) gamespot.com (for gamespot, giantbomb and comicvine) and we\'ll likely unban your address after you have fixed the problem.
You\'re doing something cool and awesome with a bot but never told us about it.
We look for cool and awesome. We want cool and awesome but please tell us about it! Please send an email including what you are doing and your IP address to ipbans (at) gamespot.com (for gamespot, giantbomb and comicvine).
You\'re intentionally or unintentionally using a public proxy or VPN
We cannot allow access though public proxies because they are mostly used by spammers. Sorry if you\'re not a spammer and are using a proxy for legitimate reasons. Spammers are why you can\'t have nice things. If you use a VPN/Proxy because your country blocks our site, we are very sorry about that. There is nothing we can do. You can still use archive.org to view our site.
You are connecting to us from a commercial web hosting provider like Amazon, Azure, RackSpace, Heroku, etc.
If that\'s the case and you are a legitimate business partner of CBS Interactive, contact your CBSi Representative, and give them your particular CIDRs. (Not those of your hosting provider). Sorry, we cannot allow traffic from these sources for people who do not have a relationship with CBSi.
You are using a Windows Mobile phone that is routing all your traffic through Microsoft
Your mobile phone routing all your traffic though Microsoft looks malicious to us and is probably something you don\'t want. We cannot tell the difference between malicious traffic and valid traffic in this case. Sorry.
You are using an Opera browser with Opera Turbo (Edge Caching) enabled.
Opera has a bug in their edge cache that is slamming our servers with invalid traffic. We had to block them. We tried contacting Opera but they ignored us. If you are from Opera please send an email to ipbans (at) gamespot.com and we\'ll tell you what you\'re doing. While we wait you can disable Turbo or use other browsers.
You are impersonating a legitimate scraper like Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.
You are doing malicious things like script injection or making requests for stuff like \'../../../../System32\'
If so your IP address is permanently banned and will NEVER be unbanned. We don\'t want you here. Please go bother someone else.
If none of the above apply to you then this is totally not your fault and we\'re really sorry you got blocked. Please send an email including your IP address to ipbans (at) gamespot.com (for gamespot, giantbomb and comicvine) and we\'ll look into it. We\'re really sorry for the hassle
