1 : it's a TV show. so it's bound to happen!
2 : it's fictional.
3 : the chemistry is incredible between them.
4 : the actor's aren't related in real life so I don't see the problem.
5 : they are VERY close anyway.
6 : they behave more like lovers than siblings.
7 : they have more chemistry with eachother, than all there countless lovers combined.
8 : you can clearly see that this is where the show has been heading from the moment it started.

weather you all like it or not. the relationship between these too character's is the heart and soul of the show, this couple is the very reason why so many people love it. so yes. incest is going to happen, and there is nothing you can do about it.over a year ago
im sooo delighted that they will finally be together for real in season three!!i been waiting for this, for so long!! but im also sooo gutted by the fact that i hear cesare will be getting married to some french princess of some sort, in either season 3 or 4...nooooo!! why can't just be with lucrezia?? it's obvious that she is his one and only love. but at the same time, im not worried, because i know that love for lucrezia, will far outshine any marriage

“We have good chemistry, we do. But it takes a different turn this season. God, I don’t know what I can reveal or not. There’s definitely more of that. It becomes a bit less childish and more mature — not what you think, not what you think. Never … or maybe. Who knows? You’ll see. I can’t reveal that. People are rooting for that relationship.”

Francois Arnaud on the relationship Cesare shares with his sister and what we can expect from it this season

“Basically there was, if you read the history, you find these two, this brother and sister, were utterly fascinated by each other and they regarded each as the ideal spouse. So they got through many relationships, but they never find one that satisfies them as much as the brother and sister do. It’s not a story about incest, but it’s a story about two people who are absolutely enraptured with each other.” (Neil Jordan)

[Cesare and Lucrezia] haven’t become evil yet. And they will get very evil next season. They’ve only begun to learn evil. I really did want to present them as characters who have learned to become the monsters that we know.

INTERVIEWER: I noticed a lot of fans are rooting for Lucrezia and Cesare to get together, which is a testament to how appealing you two are together.
FRANCOIS: You see, people are creepy! It's not just me! [Laughs.] I think Holliday [Grainger, who plays Lucrezia] and I had a really strong chemistry from the start, and I just really enjoy working with her. She's amazing and she has those great big eyes that you just want to stare into.
