How would they go about doing it? Start over...? Who would play Catherine; who would play Vincent? ...and Father and Mouse,Mary,Pascal...!Somethings are frozen perfectly in time, are complete! My suggestion if they ever grace us with new eps would be to have Vincent's son Jacob, now all grown up and college age, to be the main lead. He's off to college, looking ordinary but with his father's special skills and charisma. Vincent is now 'Father' and appears in every episode offering his wisdom and counselling so we still get much of the world below and it's wonderful characters. I would call it 'The Lion's Cub' after a comment by Elizabeth 1st who was challenged that she was not the man her father [Henry 8th] was. She replied 'I may not be the lion but I am the Lion's Cub'. Henry, being red haired and a big ole viking of a character was known as the Lion of England.

The CW is releasing a remake starting this fall, but I am worried that they're going to ruin it.
