Avatar Aang was raised by monks, although the identity of his real parents was unknown. Being raised by monk Aang was taught about life and to respect it, the ways of the monks are ways of peace and meditation, Aang was already a master airbender before he found out he was the avatar, he learnt and mastered all four elements by the end of the summer. And all his masters were part of Team avatar(katara, toph, zuko). And he was just a kid. Monks are also spiritual people thats why it didn't take Aang along time to master going into the spirit world.
Well in Avatar Korra's case she mastered three elements(water, earth and fire) when she was about 4 years old. She was strong and powerful, even without her bending Avatar korra can still stand up to anyone. Like in book2:spirits where she defeated Unavaatu(unalaq and vaatu) she did it without her bending, even though it took her along time to master air and the ways of spirits. She is a water bender and not a monk so it is a normal thing for it to be difficult at first but now she mastered it all and we can say that avatar korra is a great heroine. Avatar Aang is a great hero, both of them are great even though they are so different.

The wind was blowing Korra's bedroom window as she was sleeping in her bed. There was a shadow of an equalist. Equalists were attacking her. She saw them and attacked them with her fire bending. But one of the equalists tough her and she couldn't move. Amon came in her bedroom.

"After I take your bending away. You will be nothing" Amon said.

"Ah!" Korra yelled as she woke up. Naga went to her.

"It's ok Naga. I just had a bad dream" Korra said as she hugged Naga. Meanwhile Korra was walking around Republic City. She heard Amon on the ratio and she was scared of his voice. As she was walking. She...

For one, if you like Makorra, Mako, and Korra I would reccomend just clicking off this page unless you can respectfully handle my opinion. I'm not forcing you to read this, but if you chose to and get offended to yell at me because I warned you and you didn't listen. Anyhow I'm not typing this to be mean but to get my opinon out there.

Part 1: Makorrak

First of all I don't like Makorra because it reminds me of Zutara. I always hated Zutara (but that's another story). The fact that Makorra resembled Zutara was enough for me to distaste it before it even happened. But at that point I was willing...

I was watching the Legend of Korra Vlogs by Doug Walker of That guy with the glasses, and he and his brother were basically talking about this weeks episode, how Korra's issue is how she seems to have 'stagnated' as a character. While I don't think her character is exactly the same as it was in her early episodes, I do understand where they are coming from. So much has happened since the first episode of this show, and it does feel like Korra should have progressed more than she has. The Walker brothers then went on to discuss another major problem with Korra, one that I found very interesting:...
