Chapter 7
The Front Desk
Jason walked up to the front desk. The front desk manager was asleep, with his head facing the back wall. It seemed as if there were one million pictures and folders scattered along his desk. Right on his lap was the gold coin Jason had given him.
Jason reached for it. He was just about to lift it up, when the front desk manager rotated his head in a perfect circle with the front of his body facing the opposite direction. His facial expression and face was completely different. He wasn’t a human. He was a monster. His red eyes were not exactly eyes. They were more like a glowing red lines facing diagonal. He didn’t have teeth. Instead, he had a tongue like a snake with two spikes on the tip of it.
He had spiky hair and a fo-hawk. (Short Mohawk)
He grinned an evil grin and said, “ What are you doing?” still smiling.
“Um a, just ‘gonna’ ask—
“You weren’t going to take a gold coin, were you?” Interrupted the front desk manager. His voice was also different, robotic, low. It was as if he were a puppet
being controlled by something.
“Um, are one of the blue lights the blue flame?”
“Yes, but you’re going to need a fireproof shirt and glove,” said the front desk manager lightening up his tone.
“How do you get one?” asked Jason.
“Well, there’s a special gold weapon that’ll turn into one. Actually, it’s not exactly a gold weapon, it’s more like gold armor.
“I’ll use my bear hands to get it then,” said Jason, attempting to continue getting information.
“It’ll be too dangerous. Your hand will be black and burnt for the rest of your life!”
“Why are you trying to get me to not do something dangerous? You’re the evil one here!”
For a second, the front desk manager looked confused. For he was out smarted. His head spun until he looked like his normal self. After a couple seconds, his head poofed away.
I should never trust anybody. Thought Jason.
Jason took the coin. Suddenly, something the size of a shoebox took place of where the coin was. It had an oval for a head, had eyes the size if a marble, no
nose, but it had a mouth. (One full of sharp teeth.) The teeth took up the mouth.
Instead of having two rows of teeth, it had teeth forming a circle that could rotate and shred things. It was orange and had two arms that looked like arms on an octopus. It had two feet that were rough and prickly like the rest of its body.
“Easy! I have to slay this ‘dragon’,” Jason said confidently like he’s never done before. Just after saying that, the octopus like figure’s teeth started to rotate. They spun quicker and quicker until it was spinning so fast, that it flue of the chair and shredded the lower part of Jason’s arm.
“Ow!” Jason screamed.
He ran out of the building with the thing following, running fast. Jason pressed the button on the gold coin.
“Fireproof gloves and shirt! Jackpot!” exclaimed Jason. “But where am I going to have the time to put it on?” he questioned. “Oh! I know, the building where I killed my first monster!” Jason
He ran to the building and opened the door with his sweaty hand. His feet peddled quickly as he went into the building and the same room he did before. He quickly locked the door. He could hear the monster shredding the door open. It sounded as if there was someone drilling a hole in the door. He got his gear on and pulled the spear out of the monster’s stomach, ready to defend himself. The door opened. The monster came in as fast as it could. Jason stuck his spear out. It hit the monster, but the
strange thing was, because it was rock solid that didn’t do any harm, other than make the monster more angry. He jumped out of the window in the building, and ran to a glowing blue light. He grabbed one, and lucky guess, that one was the blue flame. He figured it could kill the monster, and he was right. It did. Jason held the blue flame in his hand, and there he was, in the room of the inventor.
Chapter 8
EVIL
“Hey Jason! Good work! A lot simpler than expected, but that’s my job. Making an invention that is not too much of an adventure,” exclaimed the inventor.
“Yeah, I thought it was going to be way more life risking and stuff, just like you said it would be.
“Well, um… I said that to, um, motivate you. Oh by the way, it was very smart how you killed the last monster,” said the inventor. “Here, please hand me the flame tough guy,” exclaimed the inventor. Jason handed him the blue flame. The inventor walked towards what seemed like a tube, guarded with an invisible force field. Only the blue flame could pass though it.
The inventor put through blue flame through the force field. The second it was floating in the force field, glowing blue lasers shot out of the tube. So many
lasers shot, that the room became blue. The lasers do not zap people or hurt
them, they are just beams of blue light. The blue light stopped shooting. After
the room wasn’t blue anymore, they realized, they weren’t in the room of the
invention, they were in the room of the black ball!
“Ha Ha HA!” laughed the inventor.
“Why are you laughing?” asked Jason. All of the creatures appeared, and walked out the door.
“Um, no reason,” answered the inventor.
“Stand right here,” exclaimed the inventor pointing to the left of him.
“Why…?” asked Jason.
“If you stand here you will get your powers,” said the inventor. Jason walked over to the spot the inventor was pointing to. On the spot he walked on, out slid a hole and he fell down the hole like he did the first time he ventured to the society. He was back in the society. Jason was thinking about things he could do to get back on Earth.
Earth: With the power of the blue flame, the creature filled society could take over the world. If the blue flame touched someone that’s not wearing fireproof clothing, that person, and anyone within a mile of that person, will DIE! The creatures were surrounding all of Earth, using the chemicals from the blue flame to copy it. Every hour, over a million people DIE!
Empty society: Jason was puzzled about this problem nothing could help him. He limped up to the only human like house with his head held low. The human house was the most welcoming, and he figured there couldn’t be any more traps, but unfortunately I must admit that he was entirely wrong about that. He entered the small house.
It was all metal and robotic like. The floor is was as cold as the shaved ice I love to eat on a hot day. The couches looked of tin foil. In a clear box on a platform, like in a museum, there stood a smooth and big shingle of wood. It seemed as if there were one million dollars worth of gold surrounding the wood. Each wall looked like a pro music studio. The electronic waves on all the screens were red, and were bouncing up and down like in a trampoline. Jason wondered why. Jason was still mostly clueless about this situation. He walked through a small silver hallway, and into a room.
The metal- or at least it looked like metal- bed, looked like something Jason would like to rest on. He felt like he finally found something that he could relax on and run away from the perfect reality he’d be living in: With the world being ruled by a diabolical society with the population of about 200 people. Jason jumped on the bed. The bed was comfortable. He sunk into the bed like his hopes of saving the world, sinking under his sea of regrets. The strange type of material that the bed was created with, quickly tightly squeezed Jason. Jason’s eyes turned into a grayish silver. His teeth looked of metal. His moldable skin was now as gray as an army of fog surrounding a city. And his chances of surviving were about as high as the Cubs winning the World Series. Every part of Jason’s body was stunned except for his arm. He turned it in a perfect circle. The cracking sound of his bones spoke words;
“Wectrilson,” it cracked the syllables of. “Disamonastation,” The bed slowly started to unable its tight grip. Jason’s glowing silver eyes and skin started to darken. Jason was finally out of the bed and fully functional. After that horrid moment, Jason then had the good instinct to consider being more careful. He ran out of the house.
To defeat the society, Jason needed something more powerful than the blue flame. He sat on the ground and thought like he used do when he sat by the fire. Jason had a fantastic idea. He did something you’d probably never think of. He went back to the mission. The flames matched.
“Wectrilsion!”
Jason was back were he was in the beginning. Still wearing the fireproof clothing, Jason grabbed every light, electric spear, and even grossly ripped the gold
sword out of the monster’s head. Oddly, there was more than one blue flame. In fact, every blue light was a blue flame. After holding the blue flames, for a minute, Jason was back in the room of the inventor.
He figured he could make the most powerful weapon in the world. He gathered all the blue flames together to make a big fire. The fire magically formed, a gigantic blue weapon. It appeared in Jason’s hand. It was light, only half a pound, although it was five feet tall. The weapon was shaped like a sword. Just as he was about to stick the blue flame/weapon into the tube, when he heard a sound. It sounded like a struggling human being. Jason found out were the sound was coming from, and walked into the building he heard it from.

Glance the other way
Rip your heart out
I just don't care anymore
You're useless
And uncaring
You know nothing!
Yet you pretend you do
You're a pretender
A pretender is just a liar in disguise
A pretender is a faker
A pretender hides
A pretender is a maker
Of the dark abyss
You told me once
I told you twice
Now what?
Do we forget the past?
Live for the future?
Or remember and continue on our path?
...Decisions...Decisions...
Left or right?
Up or down?
Wrong or right?
Please give me the answer
For I do not know
Right and wrong any longer
Rip your heart out
I just don't care anymore
You're useless
And uncaring
You know nothing!
Yet you pretend you do
You're a pretender
A pretender is just a liar in disguise
A pretender is a faker

Chapter 4: Sunny day
These were the days of peace and happiness.
Days were spent in peace and love.
Jack loved his job, even though he wasn't that patient with children who didn't pay attention on his classes.
But, he knew. He was doing something
important, something useful.
And most of all, he knew that his lovely wife
and beautiful little Gwenny were waiting for him
at home.
Dana was amazing at kitchen.
Jack loved everything she made.
One happy family they were.
Like every morning, Jack would go to work,
and Dana would make a breakfast and some coffee to wake them up.
Morning coffee was something wonderful
for both of them.
After having breakfast, Jack would drink coffee
with Dana, looking at her with the same gentle
and passionate love that never fades.
"I'll see you later, darling." - Jack said and
went to work.
Dana was still sitting and enjoying in the coffee,
watching through the window the sunlight.
She could smell the flowers that were growing
in the yard.

I lied
I lied to them and got caught
I confessed up and told them the truth
but they get more upset
I walk down the dark hallway
into my lonely empty room
I lie on my bed, thinking
I go to move and I can't
I fall down
pain shooting threw me
they walk in
saying I'm faking to make them feel bad
they walk out
leaving me on the ground
crying out in pain
I finally give up
crawl over to the closet
get the gun and cocked it
put it to my temple and pulled the trigger
life...filled with hate
I've chased down all my demons
but it wasn't enough
mistreated,misplaced,misunderstood.

I keep my rhythm
I tap in time,
My music is my world
An angry beat inside.
It can crash like a waterfall
Or gradually trickle down,
It can make you laugh and cry
That powerful sound.
My headphones on my head
The lyrics flowing though,
Filling up my brain
Music is the food I chew.
It can be beautiful, strange
Crazy and cool,
I couldn't live without music
There's a style to suit all.
Music is like a brand new life
Jumping around your mind,
Each instrument that is played
Is an ingredient to find.
There's nothing quite like music
There's nothing quite like me,
You can always find a friend in music
Music will always be.
