The Weeknd has been chipping away at the follow-up to his 2015 blockbuster

producers Doc McKinney and Illangelo, that there may be a Diplo joint on there and that a Justin Timberlake collaboration is in the realm of possibility. And now he’s put in studio time with versatile producer Cashmere Cat, whose credits include Kanye West’s “Wolves,” Charli XCX’s “Break The Rules,” Miguel’s “…goingtohell” and Tinashe’s “All Hands On Deck.”

The Norwegian shared a photo of the two on Instagram, captioned “xo,” which is enough for us to get juiced about a collab.
