Original Box Storage Question

I have a large collection of Precious Moments and have kept most of the original boxes. Is it safe for the boxes to store them in a very hot attic (we live in Georgia, so I'm talking well in excess of 100 degrees in the summertime). Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
