I don't know.
I think many people just forgot.
Michael has been dead for a while, and people are kinda starting to move on.
I myself remember it, but I didn't really do something to celebrate it.
Many people love Michael, and many cried when he died.
I think most people forgot because they either never really appreciated him in the first place, or don't want to remember because it makes them feel sad.
i didnt :). I love mj alot (as a big brother not as a lover.) I honestly will never forget mj at all. Even though i wasnt able to celebrate the way i wanted to, i still thought about him all day :). As long we never forget, i doubt it will ever go unnoticed :)
i noticed!!! right when i woke up 4 skool (i know mikeys b-day on a skool day sux right) i told the poster of him by my bed HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL!!!! n later im baking a cake n all im listening 2 2day is his music
I didn't feel so good. At school my head was aching, I felt dizzy, I felt light headed, my stomach wastrying to kill me, I had to go to the nurses office to lay down until next period, I layed there and thought,"Jesus Christ Im getting sick on michael's birthday. What's wrong with me?"
No michael's birthday didn't go without notice, there were many fan events on his birthday..even the simplest ones like lighting the porch light on in his remembrance. And there was Omer Bhatti who released his first official video in dedication to Michael 10 days before the birthday...you know there were things going on...
It didnt go with little notice.at least not here..my boyfriend and i did a tonne of things. Man in the mirroring at an orphanage, played with sick kids, put on a show for old folks, cleaned his star, took a huge bunch of flowers to forest lawn and ended with a 2 man billie-jean flashmob after dark
