A truly unique and gifted writer! He managed to create new and original stories despite being influenced by Poe, Dunsany, Machen and others. To me, all of that only made him a more talented author, one able to instill fear and horror in so many people even today! Lovecraft was much more that just about horror. He was a master of science fiction and fantasy as well, making him more versatile than most others from his era. Needless to say, Lovecraft is my favorite writer! ^_^
