Well, they announced it just yesterday or so. I read an article on season 2008/09 a week earlier but HIMYM was never mentioned. Seems they've finally agreed on an air date though it's not the best time slot...

where did you read it? i still cant find it..i should probably check a tv guide or something..i really want to see it- though i will probably cringe the whole time..

Wow. That's a lot of german. Lucky you =D I have no idea when HImym airs in the uk and Im not sure I want to know. We always mess up the orders of them and stuff.

i did my own little lame translation of
meet me in the the bar in fifteen minutes and suit up...oh its gonna be *shudders*

If the translation sucks (and I'm pretty sure it does) I'll press the 'mute' button on my remote and just watch Neil Patrick Harris in all his awesomeness : D

I've got some news for all German Mother fans. According to the Pro7 website they will air two episodes of the show.

According to several TV guides Pro7 will air all three seasons (!!) of HIMYM.

I'm so excited for this. It's only one week until the premiere in Germany.
I've just read an article in TV Spielfilm in which it says how sad it is that such a great show got lost in the Saturday afternoon sitcom slot. It's also said that all the hilarious gags seem to be poor in the German translation...
