So I was talking to one of my friends the other day about marching band. I was telling her how sore my feet get after practices, when she says, "Oh, your feet can't hurt that bad. All you guys do is walk around the field right?"

You know you've been in marching band too long when you watch the advancing orc armies on Lord of the Rings and you want to yell at them to cover down and get in step.

I would like to make an announcement..............MY BAND WON SUPERIOR IN A BAND COMPETITION! Both for the concert and the sight-reading! :D I'm so happy! Last year, the band got an excellent, and that was when I wasn't in the band. So, it makes me feel special. TuT Posted over a year ago

Today at practice, we got this big new prop for one of the guard girls at the end of the show, and of course, it goes 2 steps right behind me and moving closer just in time for me to go backwards. FUN.

So now I have to do this wierd swerve thing and hope that I don't break my arm (or flute) on it. XP Posted over a year ago

I've only been back from band camp for 5 days and I already miss it! I can't believe I only have one more left. But on the bright side, at least I still have almost 2 years left with ma band family, and we finally have props this year! XD Posted over a year ago

I was watching Wipeout yesturday, and one of the contestants came in wearing a Marching Band uniform! Finally, someone to represent what us band kids are made of! Only problem is he didn't do a very good job at that; he lost in round 2. :( Posted over a year ago
