Mick Jagger apparently wants Harry Styles to star in his HBO drama telly show Vinyl, which he\'s working on with actual Martin Scorsese. No biggie.

Yup - despite the fact we\'ve never properly seen them in the same room and have a sneaky suspicion they might actually be ONE BEING, Mick\'s said to be after Harry for a role playing a rock star \'battling through the temptations of time\' in the second run of the show. In fact, someone spilling all to the Daily Star on Sunday reckons he\'d be \'perfect\' for it.

Chatting to the paper, a source said: "He believes a role in Vinyl is the perfect starting spot for Harry. The role will give Harry his step up into acting and show fans that he\'s shaken off his teen pop appeal."

The show\'s basically set in the \'70s, and while the first series has already been filmed Mick\'s apparently keen to nab Harreh for the second run. His own son James plays the lead singer of a punk band and, yeah, we definitely wouldn\'t be opposed to this during the 1D break-not-break-up. It\'d pass a bit of time, eh?
