I have decided to write this article because I've noticed that a lot of people have doubts about the Harry Potter movies.

First of all, let me say that one of my biggest pet peeves is when people call themselves "major Harry Potter fans" but have never read the books. I do not think that you can be a Harry Potter fan just by watching the movies, and I'm pretty sure anyone who has read the books will agree with me on this.

Having said that though, the other day one of my friends asked me:
"Why were the Harry Potter movies made?"
She asked this question because she felt like the movies "did not live up" to the book, or that they "weren't as good".
My answer to this would definitely be: You are Right. The movies are not as good as the books, I agree. But my problem is that, I think, many people are underestimating the movies.

The books have a LOT of details in them, not to metion they are fantasy books. They are stories with dragons, giants, wizars, magic, castles, etc. Anything with just ONE of these detailes would be pretty hard to turn into a movie.

People's main point when arguing against the movies is: 'They leave so much stuff out'.
Of course they do! These are 2 hour long movies versus 600 pages of book. Imagine how hard it would be to turn these books into movies!
They can definitely NOT include as many things as we would like them to. They just need to include plot, and naturally the sub-plots don't usually make it in.

My whole point with this is: To really enjoy a Harry Potter movie it is essential to go into the movie theatre with a different mind set. You have to go in, KNOWING that this will not be 100% exactly like the book. It will be different, things will be cut out, and maybe your favorite part won't be included.
It is normal that as you go out of the theatre you might be thinking: "Aww I wish they included the part with __________". But once we get pass the disappointment of that, is when we can really enjoy the films.

Once people accept these facts, I think we will be able to appreciate the movies much more. Because, when thinking about it, I realize that the things that are created with the movie are pretty amazing.

Clearly they will never be as good as the books, which is why there is not even a point in comparing them. (I know it's hard not to, but I wish it didn't happen)
As for the movies themselves, I think they are as good as they can be, and I couldn't really ask for much more!

Albus Potter:Releasing Vuldemort
Ch.1
Albus Potter was my name. Being the son of Harry Potter and Jenny Weasley made me more proud than I already was. I just turned 11. Which meant I had to attend HogWarts, the school of magic and wizardry. My older brother,James, already went there for a year and said it was magnificent. My first year,I was terrified, but managed to keep it secret. Once I stepped onto the train,I got a greeting of very loud kids. My cousin,Rose Weasley, followed after me towards a car where we could be alone from those ignorant children. When we finally found one,we started...

Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, better known as simply "Dumbledore" died in June of 1997. He was 116 years old.

Dumbledore is one of the most dynamic Harry Potter characters. He had great accomplishments, and terrible failures. He's known for many things, for discovering the 11 uses for Dragon Blood, defeating Grindelwald and of course being the Headmaster at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He also found and destroyed one of Voldemorts horcruxes by himself.

However, there were moments in his life that weren't nearly as bright. When he was a young adult, he became obsessed...

Scorpius POV
"See ya, dad! Bye Mum!" I shouted, hanging out the window of the Hogwarts Express! "See you, Scorpius! Have a wonderful-" my mum's voice was lost among many others. I continued to wave, and pulled myself back into the train as it went around the first bend, leaving Platform 9 and 3/4 behind. My compartment was full to exploding, so I left in search of an emptier one. I looked out the windows in the...

Hermione's P.O.V

"Guys, the reason I asked for you to come down her with me is because someone very special is arriving today, and she's your age, so I want you guys to make her welcome." Said Oliver Wood.

It was a crisp Winter day, and there wasn't a single cloud in sight. A slight breeze ruffled my hair as I stood beside an old tree in front of the school.

"And who might this 'Special person' be?" Asked Ron.

Well, whoever it was seemed pretty important to Wood.

"It's my cousin Abby. She's from America, so try and make her feel welcome." He repeated. "She's...
