Crack. The sound of apparation was made in the absolute darkness. Ron clicked the Deluminator, and the first ball of light joined the lamp. He clicked the Deluminator 11 more times, and the street on which the four friends were standing was plunged into light once more.
“Thank god Dumbledore gave me this,” whispered Ron.
“Shush!” hissed Hermione.
Harry rolled his eyes. They were using the Disillusionment Charm, so at least they didn’t have to squeeze under the Cloak. Beside him, Ginny was trying not to laugh.
“Come on,” said Harry, sighing. They crept up the street and close to the hotel they would be staying in. Once there, they removed the Charms so they were visible. Opening the hotel door, Harry heard the soft tink of the bell. “Hello,” said the woman behind the counter, smiling at them – especially Ron.
“Hello,” responded Harry. “I think we booked three rooms here? Check for Potter and Weasley,
The attendant flipped through her record book. “Hmm,” she said. “Yes, you are here. Floor 7, rooms 6, and 7. Here are the keys.” She handed them, and Ron took them from her.
They moved upstairs to the 7th floor, and got settled in their rooms for the night.
The next morning, before Ron, Hermione, and Ginny were awake, Harry attended to some business. He apparated to Scotland, the city of Edinburgh. Once there, he went to the only Muggle house he knew – the house of a great friend. He managed to convince her to come with him, and they both apparated back to the hotel.

The Golden Trio
The Golden Trio
I'll Start with Harry Potter:

1.The Characters are more likeable.
4.Even the villans are likeable.
3.You can related to at least one of the likeable characters.
4.Harry Potter has Bellatrix Lestrange where vas Twilight only has Isabella Swan.
5.The villans actually seem thretning unlike the Volturi.
6.The cast seems friendlier.
7.The relatonships in Harry Potter are taken one step at a time.
8.Harry Potter is more realistic; the characters each have a flaw as well as some good traits
9.Harry Potter shows real life issues such as; the loss of someone dear to you, child neglect, (the dursleys) and raceism....

Before you start reading, I'd like to say this is my personal opinion. Maybe I'm wrong. If I am, I'd appreciate you don't get mad because I don't like fighting. It wasn't meant to be rude, mean or hurtfull to anybody.

For me Twilight was too easy to read. I could predict what would happen and the plot was too easy. The thing is, the plot isn't bad. Vampires exist, that's cool. You know one, yes, very cool. But the way Stephenie Meyer introduces it, how she developed her characters, how she modeled the vampire species, that is where Twilight gets people annoyed. It represent the iceburg that...

I thought this would be fun!Guess what!?What if I had an interview with J.K. Rowling and Stephanie Meyer together! This is the fake interview with me,J.K. Rowling, and Stephanie Meyer:
----------------------
Me:Welcome,Stephanie.Welcome,J.K.
Rowling:Hello.
Meyer:Hi.
M:Are you ready for the interview?
R:Yeah,Stephanie.
Stephanie:Yes.
M:Ok,since you both write fiction-how did you come up with the books?
S.M.:It was a dream, the meadow scene and I woke up and I'm like,"How did they get their? How did they fall in love?WHat would happen, next?"I jumped out of bed and sat down and started writing.Going,"I can't...

First, let me get this straight: I'm not a fan of Twilight. In fact, I hate it. But I can see why everyone's so hyped up about it.

You see, I've recently been introduced to a new theory- The Twelve-Year-Old girl theory. It's mostly used in music, like for popular icons like Hannah Montana, Justin Bieber, the Jonas Brothers, but Twilight also fits into this catagory.

What is the Twelve-Year-Old girl theory, you might ask? Well, let's just look at people at the age of twelve first. When you turn twelve, you're on the thin line between childhood and the teen years. You're young and vulnerable,...

This is an answer to a question posted by coolbek. If you read it, please feel free to provide constructive criticism. However, please don't post hateful comments without backing up your opinion - it just makes you look foolish.

These are my reasons as to why people like Harry Potter more than Edward Cullen:

1. Harry has flaws - anger, sometimes arrogance and a few more. These flaws make Harry a character with depth, and also a character that we can relate to. Nobody can be perfect in the real world – our flaws are what make us human. The saying “Perfection…is apt to be dull” explains...

Alright,I don't know where to begin,I guess I already begin.

I can't believe I've taken months to conclude that I was being something humiliating, nasty and dumb for those past months.I loved Harry Potter with all my heart, its the very first novel I would not eat to have it.I used to like Twilight too when I watched the movie in the first place.

However, its pretty obnoxious when media started to compare my most favorite book with a simple love story like Twilight-no offenses, just how I used to think. That's why I joined this site,to prove that all the "move on Harry Potter.." things was wrong.
'Harry...

Ah well, in the name of justice now I will take it a little bit against Harry Potter. For starters I will only mention consistency errors or plot mistakes. Scientific and lore mistakes will be included later. HEY! They are 7 very long books, and unlike Twilight were mistakes were easy to spot amongst the constant lovey-dovey of Bella and Edward, Harry Potter has a lot of information going around. Now then.

1)Where did Voldemort stick his wand?
Explanation: Yeah the title doesn't give a very nice image. But seriously. Voldemort went on a solo mission to kill the Potters and their baby. Due to...

"Why compare Harry Potter and Twilight? Why would you compare such different things?" are two questions this spot has come across often. And to be honest, it irritates the living crap out of me when people ask this.
The media plays a role in things and this debate is no different. On the cover of Breaking Dawn there is a quote from USA Today saying "Move over Harry Potter".(Newsflash, we're not going anywhere) Now, don't tell me that doesn't anger you/ you wouldn't feel angry if you were a Harry Potter fan. "Stephanie Meyer is the new J.K.Rowling." It really pisses me off when people say this...

Like a lot of other Antis, I was at first a Twilight fan.

I got into reading when I was 8 years old. First real book I have read was Harry Potter. Since than, I have read loads of fiction - romance, science fiction, fantasy, historical novels...
I liked some of them and disleked others. With years, I learnd to tell why and found my favorites - fantasy novels.

My friend heard of upcoming Twilight movie, so she decided to read it. She recomended the book to me, so I said: "Heck, why not, it sounds interesing." I borrowed it from school library and read it. I admit, I thought it was great, and I...

New Moon Review

“…she [Stephanie Meyer] can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good…” ~ Stephen King

And frankly, I agree. Stephanie Meyer, author of the Twilight series, has gotten her share of criticism, but also many undeserved raving fans. I’m going to take a closer look at her second book in this series, New Moon.
New Moon Is quite possibly the just all-around worst book in the series, and I will tell you why.

One, Edward leaves Bella, and she turns into a zombie-like wreck. She abandons all of her friends, instead focusing what little personality she has on hatred for Edward...

To a Twilight vampire!
Bonnie Wright, the British actress who plays Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films, is set to tie the knot with her actor beau Jamie Campbell Bower (Cauis from New Moon).

The 19-year-old was spotted showing off her "glittering engagement ring" to fellow guests at a Gucci party last night, according to reports.

As well as playing a vampire in New Moon, 21-year-old Jamie will co-star with Bonnie as the wizard Gellert Grindelwald in the final Harry Potter film, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.

The couple met only a few months ago and Bonnie recently gushed in an interview, "We just really clicked straight away. He's a great guy, and we just enjoy spending time together... He's really lovely. Everything is going great."

FOR A SECOND THERE I DIDDNT THINK IT WAS EVER POSSIBLE!
So we all know who Bella is, complete muggle and interfering with the magical world. The Department of International Magical Cooperation and the Department of Magic Reversal are overlooking claims, as shown on that post on My Life Is Twilight. I know this has been covered a lot, but I'm going to go in a bit further on what makes Muggles like her so much.

In several articles, Bella was described as an empty shell, meaning any girl can relate to her. This fits, because we know that she's only described as clumsy. Well, so are hundreds of millions of people in the world...so they could fit into...

Note: I originally had this as a question, but I guess it was too long, so I'm re-posting this in an article.

Question number one: Vampires hearts don't beat, correct? Correct. I believe this is mentioned several times. Now, in health class, they teach you that your heart pumps and makes your blood flow, correct? Correct. So, it stands to reason that, since vampires hearts don't beat, they don't have blood flow, correct? Yes. So, they have no blood flow, no circulation. They cannot bleed, or blush, or anything related to circulation, yes? Yes. This is said several times in the book.

Now, call...

OK, so many Harry Potter/vampire fans (like myself) will probably agree that Edward Cullen is not a real vampire. The only similarities that Edward and other vampires have is the liking of human blood. I suppose Meyer was trying to be original, and I don't mean to offend anyone who does like the sparklepyres.

Why Edward Cullen is a niffler

Before I state my actual reasons, I should probably tell anyone who doesn't know what a niffler actually is. For this I have my trusty Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them book:

NIFFLER
M.O.M. Classification: XXX [Which means a competent wizard should cope...
