Guitar Tip

Close your eyes through your entire practice session. Do not picture your way around the fretboard, hear your way around it.

Hear yourself to the next note, to the next, chord, to the next scale. It should be a relaxed exercise, not a strained one. Like when you're at a distance from a battery powered clock.

If you strain to listen to its tick you cant hear it but when you relax and allow it to come to you, you can hear it clearly.
