Ed & Winry aren't your typical canon couple. They actually have depth to them — a sense of realism. I guess I could say I have a soft spot for childhood friends, but they're relationship proves strong due to them knowing each other for a long period of time. They're relationship isn't just romance; it's a true friendship. Moreover, they go through so many tragedies — together. To me, this shipping is about promises. I really enjoyed watching the progression of the romanctic build-up of this couple!~ It was so rocky, and you had to watch every episode to understand how they work with eachother! They truth to their love is that they balance eachother off like water and oil!
