The flight to Hawaii was long and depressing.Duncan and I talked on part of the way there,but since it was already late by the time we got on,he fell asleep fast.I lay next to Duncan stroking his soft,black hair.He was quietly breathing in and out.He had a tiny grin on his face.I watched him,because the baby was making me uncomfortable,and there was not much else for me to do."Mmmm...."He quietly moaned.He turned over to the right,facing me.He slowly woke up."Hey..."I said softly."Hey."He said sleepily stretching widely. sat up and leaned over to kiss me quickly."Baby hurting you?"He asked."You have no idea."I replied shortly."I wish I could take the pain away from you."He said.I was still fiddling with his hair.He didn't seem to mind."Courtney I need to let you know that I'm very proud of you."Ducan said reaching over to brush his hand across my cheek."You're so brave to have this baby princess.You know all of the risks,you know all of he pains,but you refuse to give up don't you?And you're so young.So,so young.And you're bringing something like this into your life.And into mine.I can't tell you how much I've wanted to have children.Thank you Courtney.I love you a lot,and you give me a lot of joy.Now you're giving me more.Thank you."That was the sweetest thing ever said."I'm not brave Duncan.I'm so,so scared.I've been so scared since I found out."I said my head down."You are brave.You're one of the strongest girls I've ever known Courtney.Some women I've seen at the hospital have had terrible mental breakdowns they were so scared!You'll be fine."My eyes brimmed with tears.I was so terrified!He was so excited!How could I show him how scared I was?As if he knew what I was thinking,he cradled me in his arms and said;"You don't have to worry because you have people supporting you who love you.I love you very much,the baby will love you very much,and our families love you very much.And you have many people who support you.Like all of our Total Drama friends.That's over 22 including Chef Hatchet and Chris!We all have promised to take care of you.Okay?"I laid my head against his chest,crying slowly.He ran his hand across my hair."I love you."He whispered.I was strangely starting to feel a little bit comfortable again.You know,with the pain and all."I love you,please go to sleep.Rest.I love you,so rest and feel better in the morning."I slowly calmed down soothed by Duncan's brisk voice telling me he loved me.But that didn't make the fear go away.His fear wouldn't go away if he saw what I saw.LAND IN HAWAII IN PART 15!!
