Disney Dates Animated Films 'Zootopia,' 'Moana'

\'Zootopia\' centers on a fast-talking Fox while \'Moana\' is set in the South Pacific following a teen explorer

, Disney Animation Studios announced 2016 release dates for two of its upcoming animated films,

, which follows a fast-talking fox who dreams of making it big will hit theaters on March 4, 2016 in 3D while

, centering on a Polynesian teen, will open on Nov. 23, 2016 in 3D.

Directed by the filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker,

is set in the South Pacific and follows a teen who sets sail in search of a fabled island. During her incredible journey, she teams up with her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui, to traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous sea creatures, breathtaking underworlds and ancient folklore.

This will be the first CG-animated movie from Clements and Musker, the team behind Disney classic

currently has the 2016 Thanksgiving weekend date to itself.

, took the No. 1 spot at the box office this past weekend, earning a strong $56 million.
