are working for sb who wants to destroy Patty and they are setting her up to manipulate Ellen into helping them. Plus i think Timothy Olyphant's character is working with sb to provoke her into doing sth illegal like buying that gun, basically to do sth for which she could be blackmailed. he is just way too helpful and not exactly pushing her to the good side either. And i think that Patty didn't order the attempt on Ellen's life, i think the FBI wanted to create a fake attempt but didn't expect her to kill the intruder, i think he was supposed to run away after a good fight. they show us how Patty's PI calls her and tells her that it was done but we don't know what he is talking about, we just assume because of the time that we are shown in the episode. i seriously think that the FBI dudes..... i am on season two at the beginning, i am so pro Glenn Close!! Ellen just annoys the hell out of me, i keep wanting her to stop digging under Patty. she is stupid, she isn't asking the write questions, she thinks that Patty lied to her about her dead daughter when the FBI gave her a case about infant mortality rate. For crying out loud girl use ur brains!!!! the FBI suits know more than they are telling you obviously!!! how can she be so blind? Posted over a year ago
