Sweden and the name of the group is called Caramell. Yes they sing in Swedish but some people seem to get that confused with Japanese for some odd reason -_-'

Because, all of the weeaboo types that watch the Caramelldansen videos think that just becasue the video has anime characters in it, that means the song is japanese too.
im not certain but the anime characters dancing has nothing to do with the song.
the song is either german, spanish or swedish (sorry i can't remember which) and the dance is japanese
