To think, most of my character names come from a thrift store baby book!
To think, most of my character names come from a thrift store baby book!
Baby Name Books!

My #1 resource is the baby name book I bought from a thrift store. It's a lifesaver! Not only does it have over 5,000 names but origins, boy and girl names, and alternate spelling. But, if you can't get a hold of a baby name book there's always...

Name Websites!

Just as good and pretty much the same thing. They have access to millions of names online! One website I find really useful;

Symbolic Names!

Often, writers give thier characters a name that has a certain meaning. For instance, one of my characters is named Roni. Which is short for Veronica. She's a very tomboyish girl. She is a witch who is suppose to save an entire kingdom of magical creatures. She is the reincarnation of one of the creators of the world.

Veronica: Truth And Purity

Caleb is another character. He is a friend of her love interest. He also gets turned into a vampire in the first book. Out of her love interest, Caleb, and thier other friend, he is pretty much the voice of reason.

Caleb: Faithful, Bold

Splure Of The Moment Names!

Sometimes writers just name a character randomly. There's nothing wrong with this. Some of the best character names come from nowhere at all.

Made-Up Names!

Sometimes writers create names themselves. This definatly gets a thumbs up on my "Kudos" meter. Mostly because you use your own imagination to make them.

Take another one of my characters. Brielle (Bree-el). A sweet, animal loving girl. I made her name up myself. For some reason, i'm positive the name will show up on a website somewhere! But for the moment, I created it myself. So let me enjoy my victory dance in peace.

Thanks for reading. I hope this helps you with naming your characters!

Right now i'm articled out! I'll publish a few more later, kay? Peace<3

This story is about dragons fighting dinosaurs in New York. You may be wondering how dinosaurs and dragons come in New York if they're expected to be dead. Well these dragons and dinosaurs are from an island known as Reptile Island where an evil scientist created them. the portal that brings the dragons and dinosaurs to New York was made accidentaly when the dinosaurs and dragons both breathed fire. The evil scientist made the dinosaurs evil. That's why they breathe fire. The evil scientist accidentally made the dragons good. The dinosaurs don't even want to attack humans. The reason they're...

So, this story is based on Gears Of War, if you know anything about it, this story will make sense. If not, you can just guess or look it up. Your choice.

God's Lost Child
 Chapter 1:   Wasteland

"Adam? You should have a look at this..... It's bizarre." Said a feeble scientist wearily as he pushed his round glasses back up the precipice of his rigid nose as his eyes flitted from the clipboard in his hand to the experiment before him.  A pencil was clad to his hand as he scribbled away ferociously at the clipboard.
"This had better be good, not like what you thought was amazing the last time."...

CHAPTER 1

Vector LeVay sat in the back of his limo with an annoyed expression on his face. His arch enemy, Antonio Esposito had returned back from France after three hundred years. Vector knew he know doubt wanted revenge. After all he had been the one who had imprisoned him in France. He had done so, so that he could reap havoc on Italy.
That wasn't the main reason LeVay was irked. News had reached him that Esposito had an apprentice. Vector had nearly lost his immortal life in the battle with Esposito. Two of him could be worse.
How am I going to fix this? he thought. Esposito will want...

Behind the door
of your destiny
are dreams
that still shine
in the haze
of your memories.

These dreams
are so distant
and invisible,
though your eyes
still stare into them.

Everything is so foggy
like your thoughts.
You sit alone
trying to reach that
small piece of happiness,
trying to find
a purpose of life.

Dreams that still
live in you
are smothered by
the cruel reality.
But, they still live
inside,
feeding the memories,
reviving the soul.

Dreams,
even if they are
condemned to oblivion,
live within your heart,
in hope,
in remembrance,
shining in
the haze of
your memories.

Everyone was writing it down on their calenders as alerts of it popped up on the news, internet, and in big bold letters, on a newspaper! The time has come for it to be known to mankind and liked! The movie, Brenda and Luci's Night, was premiering on that weekend, the 25th of November.Everyone wanted to see it! There had been commercials of it since August, and the stars had been anxious. Speaking of the "stars" Whose names were Hillisia Jones, and Ponya Kricketiz. They were bff's since the kindergarten, and now they were in 7th grade. They auditioned for the movie without the other knowing! They were astounded when they learned they were auditioning for the same movie. They were mad, but when Ponya got the letter she was Brenda, and Hillisia was Luci, they were overjoyed, and began screaming with cheers! Now they were in New York being filmed for the movie... wait for more!

Vega. A small world on the outskirts of the Holista system. It was home to few, and did not get many interstellar visitors.
But, on this insignificant planet, in the town of Temi, things were about to get hectic.

Temi was home to about nine hundred Temins. It was a quiet town where nothing exiting happened, at least, not in public.
The day was windy, and dry, as the few children that lived in the town made their way to school.
All The children wore scarves and bandanas over their mouths and goggles over their eyes, to keep the wind swept dirt out of their lungs and eyes....
