Chapter 2-The Pain.
She took a shaky step through the rippling shield, smiling when she was on the other side. The boy smiled too, but still looked wary. Alexis took anothr step, larger this time, but a surge of pain forced her to the ground. She screamed out grabbing her wrist where the pain pulsed the highest. The pain burned through her whole body causing deep shudders to run through her. The boy crouched over her, and closed his eyes.
"Don't worry, it will pass." He said standing once more and moving to lean against the wall he had before, trying his hardest not to look concerned. The time moved on and Alexis was still in the state of pain, her body burning her wrist throbbing. She could no longer open her eys for the pain clouded her vision. The boy crouched beside her again, and took her wrist softly in his rough hands, gasping at the sight. Her mark of power was something he thought could only be a myth, one circle surrounded by eight smaller ones. Alexis had fell faint from the pain, and now lay limp at his feet. Shaking his head, he carefully slid his hands under Alexis's body, standing up and pulling her into his chest, he began to run backtowards the building, trying his best not to jostle her.
He slowed down once he was in the building, stopping to catch his breath. A girl that was walking past, stopped and stared, mouth hanging open.
"Jaden...?" She asked, high pitched. Jaden let him self look at her for a few seconds, before taking a sharp left, and heading down a long corridoor.
"Jaden!" He heard the girl call. Demanding. But he carried on, only stopping once he came to a door with a shiny name plate, that read: "Headmaster."
He didn't bother to knock, instead he rushed in falling to his knee's from exhaustion. The room was large, and dusty. One wall was covered in old books, from top to bottom. At a desk, oppostie the door, sat an even older woman with a shock a silver hair. She jumped up running towards Jaden, when she saw Alexis limp in his arms.
"Miss! I-I don't understand...?"He mumbled, trying to stand back up but Alexis began to squirm again nearly causing Jaden to drop her. The older woman took action, she lifted her arms, and slowly Alexis was hovering above the ground. Alexis was oblivious, the pain was all that she could see, hear and feel. The woman lowered her hands and Alexis was placed gently on the desk.Jaden walked over to the desk and explaned everything that he could, as quickly as he could. |The woman fell back into a chair, putting one hand to her mouth.
"I never thought that I would see the day," she muttered. She stood slowly, trying to keep her balance, and walked towards the large collection of dusty books. She returned with a book larger than the bible, the pages yellow with age. She clicked her fingers and the pages began to flick by adventually coming to a abrupt stop.
"Here, notice that symbol?" She asked sitting back down, and thrusting the book into Jaden's arms. and there it was, Alexis's mark. Slowly Jaden read the prophecy and understood.
"She is the one in this prophecy." He stated blankly. The woman nodded in reply.
Alexis began to calm, the pain finally passing. No one spoke as she slowly sat up, confused as how she was on a table. He long brown hair cascading down her back as she stood. Alexis stood uncomfertable, glancing between the two strangers.
"Don't worry you are safe here," Jaden muttered softly, pushing a smile onto his face. alexis nodded, and calmed-slightly-.
"I am ,Miss Motgomery, headmaster of Rose Thorn Acceddemy, and the boy that brought you here is Jaden Williams." She said brightly iddicating Jaden, who gave a sheepish smile and Alexis smiled warmly in reply, commiting the names to memory.
"A school for likelings?" Alexis asked. Miss Montogmery and Jaden smiled.
"Good, some students don't get that far into their dreams," Miss Lucifer mumbled, Alexis nodded. " And you are?" She asked standing up and holding out her hand. Alexis beamed and grasped her hand back,
"AlexisBaker!"

Dear Well....You,
I love you, you know that? I think your absolutely astounding, and amazing, and I hope you never change. You make my day in every way, and as far as now, you’ve been completely supportive.
I love how when I shiver just a bit, you hand me your sweater.
I love how you kiss my cheek when I blush.
I love you how you smell, and how you taste.
I love how you tell me I’m beautiful, even when I look like crap.
I love how when I’m just the tiniest bit scared, you tell me everything’s going to be alright.
I love how when you speak, sometimes, the most awkwardness things come out, and we joke about it.
I love how when I mess up my words, you tease me about it, but don’t make a big deal.
I love how you kiss me.
I love you completely
Please never change.

I sit in the dark. Thinking about Jack. A single tear comes out of my eye, then another. I start to laugh quietly, trying not to wake up my sister. Then, the horrible memory from my awful dream came back to me. I went to the door and paused. I sighed and told myself that nothing is out there but the hallway, the dining room, living room and the kitchen. I took out my phone from my jacket and looked at the time. It's 5:59. I rolled my eyes and opened and closed the door quietly and sat on the soft couch. I started to drift into thoughts about Degrassi, and what it would be like if I went there. Then, a black figure moved across the kitchen. Spooked, I quickly walked to my aunts' laptop and looked up some funny videos on youtube.com to keep m off track from the figure. Hours passed, and I am still freaked. Ten minutes later, I calm down and look up some more funny stuff. Ugh! I must be haluccinating from lack of sleep. I rubbed my eyes and went back to my bedroom and passed out.
