“Stop!” “He didn’t do anything,” shouted White! “He doesn’t deserve this!”
White couldn’t believe his eyes about what he was seeing. There were sounds of yelps and growls went thought the air.
“You’re just lucky he didn’t hear you”, whispered Zinna. Do you what to get punished?”
White knew that she was right but he couldn’t watch his fellow wolf being tossed violently around like a doll. White couldn’t stand up for him or that would be him. After it was over, He resized that all the other wolves were leaving.
“There not even going to see if he was alright, cowards!” White hissed. Then he went cautiously over to check on him.
“Hey, are you alright” white ask hopefully! There was no answer. He was entirely covered in blood, White thought he was dead. So with one last attempted he ask again, louder
“Hey, are you ok!” White herd a faint yes and his ears perked up.
“Yes! Your alive, can you stand” white cried joyfully.
“I think I can”.
“So what’s your name new be? “
“I’m Zane “.
“It was your first day and you already angered the leader,” white assumed.
“I just ran into him!” Zane barked.
“I know I saw the whole thing, but Darcia doesn't show mercy even if it was accident” White explained.
“Darica” Zane questioned.
“Oh well that’s the leader’s name I thought you knew,” Mumbled White”.
“Well lets go you can’t stay hear with wounds like that, come with me I will teach you how not to get on Darica bad side.”
“OK” Zane responded back!
“Well after you feel better I would like you to meet Zinna, she’s one of the few wolves you can trust.” White offered.
Zane finally meet Zinna after 3 days of healing, and after that day they have been friends all three of them. A month has past. They have been avoiding Darcia but other have not been so lucky. There have been at least eight wolves who got attack by the leader. There was a lone wolf that entered are territory she was torn to pieces by Darcia. He doesn’t care about any one, not even his own pack members. Darcia heart is as black as his soul and that’s being nice. An more and more cruel thing he does the more anger builds up in White.
“That isn’t right how he treating all of us” white blurted to Zane and Zinna.
“I know but what can we do the last wolf that stood up to him is now sleeping with the fishes if you know what I mean,” Admitted Zinna.
“Well I’m not going to take it any more. “White shouted.
“I’m going to challenge him to a leader battle and when I win I will make this pack not have to live in fear any more.”
“But if you lose you’ll be killed” Zane added!
“That’s a chance I am willing to take to be free from his role.” White jeered. Then White ran off they tried to stop him but he couldn’t be stopped now, he already had a plan.
“Darica” white yelled.
“What.”
“I challenge you to a leader battle and if I win I’m the new leader and you have to leave!”
“What if you lose?”
“Then you can decide what to do with me from there.”
“My pleasure, this is going to be fun” growled Darcia while smiling
Zinna and Zane came to watch. White made the first move but it missed and Darica came back gruesomely hard. Blood went splattering all over the grown but White wasn’t done yet. He rammed Darica into a tree but he just got back up and laughed
“You’re pathetic.”
Darcia went head on towed White and rammed him.
“Now that a ram” Darica bragged.
White didn’t say a word he just got up and jumped quickly on Darica back and bit as hard as possible into it. Blood came pouring from his side. Darica tuned and bit him right back and White let go. This went on about a half a hour. The sent of blood linger in the air. White could barely stand but Darica was ready for more so he kept fighting.
“I will no lose to you” White growled!
Then he went racing forward but that’s what Darica wanted. He leaped up into the air and slammed White right into the ground and started tarring into his back. White howled from the horrible pain. White was just able to throw Darica off his but then he clasped, he just couldn’t fight any more. The forest was silent until Darica broke it.
“I guess I win, so I decide a slow and painful death for your treason. Does that sound good?” laughed Darcia.
White just laid there because he knew his life was coming to an end and he had no right to speak. Darica just kept on getting closer with his crocket smile. So White closed his eyes and waited to die. All of a sudden he herd a loud growl so he open his eyes. White saw Zane in front of him.
“I’m not going to let you kill White” Zane hissed
“get up White and run, I’ll follow.”
Even how bad his wounds were he got up and ran as fast as he could with Zane right behind him.
“Go get those two” Darica told two wolves watching!
They went after white and Zane but the two wolves lost them and when they returned empty pawed Darcia show them his raft.
“Few we escaped, are you OK White”
“Yeah I’m OK!” White declared. “But now what.”
“I guess were living on are own but before we go into detail you should get some rest,” Zane answered. “We can take in the morning about it.”
“OK” White responded!
The next morning, there was sound of friendly birds and smells of oak trees and pine.
“Zane wake up,” White insisted.
“OK I’m up “Zane whispered.
“I been thinking, we should go back for Zinna, we don’t know what Darica might do to her because he knows were friends with her.” White admitted.
“But if we go back he would kill us for sure.”
“If we don’t Zane we won’t know what will happen to her she could be fine or she could be write on the Reaper’s next to die list,” White added. So are you coming or not?”
“But!”
“But nothing it’s your chose come with me and save her or stay hear like a coward!”
Zane replied “I’m not coming it’s to dangerous!”
White looked at him in disappointed, then he bravely ran off, Knowing that his injury would slow him down in a fight and probably get him killed. He sneaks into the area. White knew actually where Zinna would be at this time of day, near the river.
“Zinna it’s me White.“
“White is that really you.”
“Yes” White declared!
“Come with me Zinna, you, me and Zane, who stayed behind can start a new pack.”
“What what if he come after us.” Zinna studded.
“Then we would just keep running its better than being here.”
“Yes I agree, but I’m sorry he was going to kill me if I didn’t trick you” Zinna explained.
“What did you just say?”
“I knew you would come white,” Whispered the secret voice.
He turned toward the sound the first thing White saw was his crochet smile and he knew actually who it was, Darica.
“How could you deceive me like this Zinna,” shouted White.
“I’m sorry but I didn’t want to die please forgive me,” cried Zinna.
Other wolves came out of the shadows, he was surrounded.
“You did good Zinna” Darica admitted,” but enough apologizing you did what was right”.
”Forgive me please White”.
“I forgive you but now I will surely die” White declared while looking hopeless.
“are you afraid you? should be it's not going to be a quick death, just to let you know it's going to hurt but only alot.” Darica laughed.
“no White i never wanted this to happen i just...” Zinna explained
“Take her away I don’t what her interfering,” Darica order,
“Zinna I’m not afraid of death you don’t be afraid for me this was unavoidable even if I die today I forgive you because you were my friend at one time and i would never turn my back on a friend.” White said sadly but bravely at the same time, knowing this the last time he will see her.
She was forced away, with not another word!
