is it safe to howl back at a wolf if you hear one?

Yeah sure, you smell like human so if they come to investigate (which is unlikely) they wont come near

I have before and I'm fine. Okay actually that was a coyote I howled back at (it howled at me again because I used to be able to do a super imitation) but it's probably the same concept as with a wolf.

i guess it would be. i do that all the time :) i also bark back at dogs and meow back at cats. im strange yea.

Yea I think its safe because most of the times they are afraid of humans.I howl and sometimes bark back at my Chihuahua Penny and she hates it when I do that!

yes but in rare case's the Aphla will come.

Hunters do it they hear the wolves howl and then they howl back the APHLA sometimes comes and then they shoot it.
