Superman was already one of the most popular fictional heroes, but Christopher Reeve's take on the character helped make the character appeal to an even bigger audience. Christopher Reeve showed people the heart of the character and the positive morals that he stood by. 1978's Superman: The Movie was a huge hit with critics, comics fans and general audiences. The film's massive popularity led to three sequels.

Christopher Reeve's last time playing Superman was in 1987, but he's still the actor that a lot of people think of when they think of the character. Several people have played Superman in various forms of media, so what has made Christopher Reeve's era as Superman continue to stand out in the minds of generations of fans? Well, when it comes to performances in superhero movies, there tends to be lots of fans and haters. It's rare to get a performance in a superhero film that people can agree on. However, Christopher Reeve's performance as Superman seems to be one of the few performances in the history of superhero films that people can agree on.

Superman's a character that has been around since 1938, so there's been a large variety of versions of him. Because of that, people tend to have different opinions on what they think Superman should act like. However, it's incredibly hard to find anybody who thinks that Christopher Reeve didn't capture the spirit of the character. Christopher Reeve's Superman was a kind-hearted person who was so wholesome that he would save cats out of trees. He was a respectful, loving son to both his Kryptonian parents and his human parents. He had the appeal and handsomeness to be a leading man. Most of all, he was a hero that made a positive difference in the world and gave generations of fans hope.

Christopher Reeve has said that he actually enjoyed playing Clark Kent more than Superman. Making Clark Kent as charming as his superhero alter-ego is no easy task, but Christopher Reeve managed to pull it off. It's also hard to make people believe that Clark and Superman aren't the same person, because Clark's disguise is a pair of glasses rather than a mask like Batman. However, Christopher Reeve knew how to make Clark and Superman seem like two distinct characters. Clark and Superman were both good people, but Clark was more modest, meek and clumsy while Superman was more colorful, calm and confident.

Christopher Reeve's Superman has managed to appeal to generations of fans. A lot of people still look up to him and get inspired by him. Playing a superhero requires being believable as a hero. Christopher Reeve was able to do that. That might be because Christopher Reeve was a hero in real life. Despite the various challenges and hardships that he went through, Christopher Reeve kept working hard to help his family and others. He started a foundation to help people with disabilities. Also, he continued to support the Superman franchise by guest-starring in Smallville and pass the torch to Tom Welling. The impact that Christopher Reeve left continues to change the world for the better. If Superman were a real person, I have no doubt that he would be very proud of Christopher Reeve.
When it comes to Frozen, I'm a bit obsessed. There was a time where I would scenes from the film on a weekly basis. I've also become quite attached to the film's sequel. Due to how much time I've spent studying Frozen, I know a majority of the characters in the film. I even know the characters that I doubt anybody else would care about. In order to show off what an obsessive fan I am of this franchise, I'll attempt to see how many characters I can name from the two films off of the top of my head. Some characters, such as the wolves from the first film or the rock giants from the second film,...

Mad Hatter, also known as Jervis Tetch, is a Batman villain that's based off of the Alice in Wonderland character of the same name. I'm a huge Batman fan and the Mad Hatter is one of my favorite book characters, so I'm a big fan of Batman's version of the Mad Hatter.

The Mad Hatter was created by writer Bill Finger and artists Bob Kane and Lew Sayre Schwartz.

The Mad Hatter first appeared in 1948.

In Batman, there have been two different Mad Hatters. One of them is a villainous Alice in Wonderland fan who uses his technology to control people's minds. The other version of the Mad Hatter is...

For most shows, there a few characters that you need to know about. For Code Geass, there are so many characters that are worth learning about. The Penguin is one of Batman's most iconic enemies, so the time has come to look at trivia about him.

The Penguin was created by writer Bill Finger and artist Bob Kane.

The Penguin's real name is Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot.

The Joker quickly established himself as Batman's arch-enemy. However, there was a need for more recurring Batman villains. Penguin filled that need by becoming Batman's second arch-enemy.

The Penguin's reputation as Batman's second arch-enemy was increased by his prominent role in the original television series. In fact, Cesar Romero's Joker and Burgess Meredith's Penguin...

Over the years, several actors have played Batman's arch-enemy, the Joker. The Joker has been played by various actors that have won Oscars, as well as several talented voice actors. However, if I had to pick a favorite Joker actor, it would have to be Cesar Romero.

Cesar Romero has the honor of being the very first actor to ever play the Joker in live action. The Joker was originally going to appear in 1943's Batman movie serial. In fact, there was even a poster of the movie that had him on it. However, Joker ended up being replaced by an original villain. Because of this, Joker wasn't adapted...

Cartoon Network is a channel that I have a lot of nostalgia for. It's a channel that has had a lot of interesting, memorable cartoons. Since I don't want to repeat too much stuff from my DC Comics characters article, I won't have a section for Teen Titans. However, it should be noted that Raven from Teen Titans is probably my favorite Cartoon Network character, because she's one of my all-time favorite superheroes and the Cartoon Network shows that she were in served as my introductions to her.

Ben Tennyson

Gwen Tennyson
