Superman was already one of the most popular fictional heroes, but Christopher Reeve's take on the character helped make the character appeal to an even bigger audience. Christopher Reeve showed people the heart of the character and the positive morals that he stood by. 1978's Superman: The Movie was a huge hit with critics, comics fans and general audiences. The film's massive popularity led to three sequels.

Christopher Reeve's last time playing Superman was in 1987, but he's still the actor that a lot of people think of when they think of the character. Several people have played Superman in various forms of media, so what has made Christopher Reeve's era as Superman continue to stand out in the minds of generations of fans? Well, when it comes to performances in superhero movies, there tends to be lots of fans and haters. It's rare to get a performance in a superhero film that people can agree on. However, Christopher Reeve's performance as Superman seems to be one of the few performances in the history of superhero films that people can agree on.

Superman's a character that has been around since 1938, so there's been a large variety of versions of him. Because of that, people tend to have different opinions on what they think Superman should act like. However, it's incredibly hard to find anybody who thinks that Christopher Reeve didn't capture the spirit of the character. Christopher Reeve's Superman was a kind-hearted person who was so wholesome that he would save cats out of trees. He was a respectful, loving son to both his Kryptonian parents and his human parents. He had the appeal and handsomeness to be a leading man. Most of all, he was a hero that made a positive difference in the world and gave generations of fans hope.

Christopher Reeve has said that he actually enjoyed playing Clark Kent more than Superman. Making Clark Kent as charming as his superhero alter-ego is no easy task, but Christopher Reeve managed to pull it off. It's also hard to make people believe that Clark and Superman aren't the same person, because Clark's disguise is a pair of glasses rather than a mask like Batman. However, Christopher Reeve knew how to make Clark and Superman seem like two distinct characters. Clark and Superman were both good people, but Clark was more modest, meek and clumsy while Superman was more colorful, calm and confident.

Christopher Reeve's Superman has managed to appeal to generations of fans. A lot of people still look up to him and get inspired by him. Playing a superhero requires being believable as a hero. Christopher Reeve was able to do that. That might be because Christopher Reeve was a hero in real life. Despite the various challenges and hardships that he went through, Christopher Reeve kept working hard to help his family and others. He started a foundation to help people with disabilities. Also, he continued to support the Superman franchise by guest-starring in Smallville and pass the torch to Tom Welling. The impact that Christopher Reeve left continues to change the world for the better. If Superman were a real person, I have no doubt that he would be very proud of Christopher Reeve.

Barbie is a 2023 film adaptation of the popular line of dolls of the same name. When the Barbie film first started getting advertised, it quickly made an impression on people. It became clear that the live-action Barbie film wasn't going to be like any of the animated Barbie films. It was going in a very unique direction. Since then, people have wanted to see how the film would turn out.

The Barbie film has the titular character living in Barbieland. At first, everything seems to be perfect for all of the Barbies. However, the main Barbie of the film starts displaying humanistic attributes that...

Writing articles is a fun hobby, but it isn't always easy. There are times where I don't know what to write. Also, there are times where I don't feel like writing. However, despite all the challenges that I've faced, writing articles for Fanpop has become something that I really enjoy.

Why do I enjoy writing articles on Fanpop? Because it gives me a chance to share my thoughts with you. Due to my autism, I struggle to communicate in conventual ways. However, writing these articles gives me a chance to share how I feel with you. It has given me a chance to let you know what I like and why I like...

Blue's Clues is a franchise that tends to mostly focus on the hosts, Blue, Magenta, Periwinkle and the various talking objects in the house. However, there have been times where some guests showed up. For this article, I'll be listing off some of the special guests from the original series and the reboot.

From the original Blue's Clues series:

Guests from Blue's holiday episode include Lisa Datz, Tyrese Gibson and Wynonna. Each of them plays the owner of one of Steve and Blue's friends.

Golden Girls cast member Rue McClanahan played Steve's grandmother in one episode.

Marlee Matlin guest-starred...

In a previous article, I listed off the various DVDs in my Batman collection. A majority of my superhero DVDs are Batman DVDs. However, I do have DVDs of other superhero stuff, so I thought I'd list them off.

Superman

Aside from Batman, Superman is the superhero that I have the most DVDs of. That's probably because Superman is one of my favorite superheroes in addition to being a character that has had more DVDs than most superheroes.

My Superman DVDs include the following:

Superman 2: The Richard Donner Cut

Superman Returns

Superman 5 Film Collection (This DVD set includes the four Christopher Reeve...

The Riddler is one of my all-time favorite villains, because of how well he was played by Frank Gorshin. Frank Gorshin was the very first actor to play a classic villain from the Batman comics. To this day, I think he remains one of the most talented actors to have ever appeared in the Batman franchise. For this article, I'll be listing Frank Gorshin's various appearances in Batman.

Episodes from the original Batman television series that Frank Gorshin played the Riddler in:

1. Hi Diddle Riddle

2. Smack in the Middle

3. A Riddle a Day Keeps the Riddler Away

4. When the Rat's Away the Mice Will Play...

In my previous article, I mentioned how Steve's message for the fans of Blue's Clues inspired me to make a message for Steve. In addition, it has inspired me to make a message for another one of my favorite people. In this case, I have a message for someone very, very special. The person that I'm referring to is my grandfather.

My message for my grandfather:

Hi, Grandfather. When I was younger, you used to pick me up after school and take me to the comic book store. I was a huge fan of superheroes, so the comic book store was my favorite store in the whole world. School was very stressful for...

For the 25th anniversary of Blue Clues, Steven Burns made a video for the fans. In the video, he talked about what he had been up to since he left the series. He also expressed his eternal gratitude to the fans for all the help that they have given him over the years. Steve's video is one of my personal favorite videos of all time. In order to thank Steve, I'd like to share a message of my own that's inspired by his message.

My message for Steve:

Hi, Steve. Do you remember how when I was little, I would watch you and Blue? Back then, I was just learning to walk and talk, so my memories might...

Frozen 3 has been announced. Since I'm obsessed with both Frozen films, I can't wait for Frozen 3. In fact, it's my most anticipated film that's coming out in the next few years. In addition to being excited for the film, I'm hyped to see what dolls they make for Frozen 3. The first Frozen film had a good line of dolls, but Frozen 2 topped it. I would go as far as to say that Frozen 2 has the coolest series of dolls that I've ever seen.

As great as the first Frozen film's dolls were, the selection of characters was a bit limited. The only characters that got dolls were Anna, Elsa, Kristoff...

Adam West was a legendary actor that made a big impact on his fans. He also made a big impact on his co-stars from the Batman television series. For this article, I'll be going over how Adam West got along with them.

Burt Ward

Together, Adam West and Burt Ward were television's original Dynamic Duo. Due to Burt Ward being a young adult at the time, Adam West had a lot to teach his fellow caped crusader. The two became friends and worked together multiple times over the following decades. Burt Ward thought highly of Adam West. His tribute to Adam West was very emotional and sweet.

Note: This article is a sequel to my "The Time I Met Batman" article. I recommend reading that article first.

Back in the day, there were personalized books that parents could order that would insert their kids into the story. In my previous article, I mentioned that there was a personalized Batman book. In addition to there being a Batman book, there was also a book starring Superman and Wonder Woman.

The book was written by Joel Rose.

I will share the contents of the book in this article. I will leave out some sentences for time. The book uses my name, but for this article, I'll refer to myself...
