Vocaloid 01 Hatsune Miku:
Miku is mostly known for singing upbet pop music, although there are also several songs where the genre she sings in is rock. I would reccomend that anyone new to Vocaloid listens to Miku. She is the most fan-friendly Vocaloid there is, and no matter who you may be a fan of, you can't argue with that. Her voice is high pitched and young-sounding, as is fitting for her appearance and focused genre.
