Chapter 25:If my heart was combustible it would have exploded right then and there. I had a feeling in truth Alex would never be able to look past what I did. Draining peoples life blood was one thing, brutally murdering and mutilating innocent people is another. I did not exactly have time to worry about that, I was still stuck in a empty night club with my vampire hunting boyfriend and 6 sociopathic vampires. Jared was crouched in the far corner f the lounge crying out in pain as he pulled the crucifix, that Alex threw at him, from his shoulder. Lust, Drac, Hawthorn and Strygoi looked shocked at Alex's bold move, Antonio's expression however stayed unchanged.
"What now?" I asked Alex.
"There are two exits both are blocked, we won't be able to fight off 6 vampires" he replied. He was right 2-6, the odds were against us but we had to try.
"How many weapons do you have Alex?" I asked again.
"1 more crucifix, 3 stakes, 6 vials of holy water" he replied.
"Here's the plan, take out as many as possible, okay?"
"Ok" said Alex. Alex headed for Strygoi while I went straight at Antonio. Though when I lunged at him it wasn't him I tackled, Lust jumped in front of him and we tumbled to the floor. Of course, she loved him and would die to protect him, me and Lust had originally been very close until Antonio started paying me more attention then her. I had no problem fighting her, when we practiced stuff like this I usually won. I landed on top of her and hit her square in the jaw before she could process the situation, then I reached for her head and snapped her neck, leaving her unconscious. I stood up just as Hawthorn grabbed me and threw me across the room, I hit the wall so hard I crashed through. As he came at me again, Alex swung around aiming for his heart but Hawthorn turned so it missed by a couple inches. I took my chance to jump on him, just then Alex cried out and dropped to the floor. I turned to Hawthorn, then Jared but they were dealing with injuries and seemed oddly at ease. Then I saw it, a small river of blood from Alex's neck and a bruise on the back of his neck. Someone yanked my hair so I was on my knees and pulled my arm behind my back.
"Hey Genevieve, did you miss me?"
I turned to look at her face, no I couldn't be I thought, I craned my head to the side, It was her, same red hair, green eyes, pale skin and long black fingernails, my biological younger hateful sister, Nadia or as I called Death.
"Hurry up will you Nadia" Antonio said to my sister, " leave the reunion for another time."
"Sure thing" she said. "I'll see you real soon okay sis?" Then my world went dark. When I opened my eyes it was still pitch black, was I still dreaming I thought. No it was not a dream. I went to sit up and smack I hit what seemed like a lid. Then I realized it, I pushed on the sides, punched holes in the top which caused dirt to fall through, I was I a coffin and Alex was gone.
