Renesmee does get older and grows at an exceedingly fast rate. But she stops when she reaches a certain stage. In seven years, Renesmee would grow and appear to be a seventeen-year-old or eighteen-year-old girl. This is, according to Nahuel, the point where she will stop growing and stay frozen like full-vampires in the Twilight series.
