Yea he is part of the main character. At the end of the original Tokyo ghoul manga Kaneki fought against Arima and lost horribly and suffered amnesia (memory loss) and then arima took him to the CCG (ghoul hunters) and made him one of them and then they gave Kaneki a new persona. Haise Sasaki.

The Quinx squad are a group of humans who had quinqes planted into them effectively turning them into ghouls

No, it didn’t turn them into Ghouls. It’s more like dove version of the implantation done to half Ghouls like Kaneki. Except they’re more human, possibly weaker and more stable.

Its is a human that has been given by an ability of a ghoul

It’s sad to see how they messed up so many things, missing details like when Haise said he was happy he should have his hand on his chin, and the animation was kind of half-assed too.

What a beautiful episode!!! This is to all manga readers: boy ,did the music made these scenes better or what? And I also feel we will see the anime soon connecting to the events that took place in Tokyo Ghoul root A ,including Kaneki joining Aogiri, ,so I believe there IS something for manga readers to look forward to, not that we aren’t just loving the anime already or anything ,so just some heads up and love for this anime with a beautiful opening and fitting ending

I have to say the part where Haise met Touka is much better in anime(my opinion) the song played in the background was so heartwarming and befitting! And the heartbeat though 😍

i just like they way he said it in the manga better “I Think… That I had such a beautiful person… In my life before.” I like it this way too tho the song fit so well i really really cant wait till he starts remembering everything 😀

actually this episode only contain 3 chapters which is good and lot of improvement from previous episode though some parts were skipped or missing like haise’s touching his chin and when he cries after the chateu scene

As in he got a sword jammed so deep into both his eyes by Arima that they could probably feel it on the other side of the earth

he literally says he can feel his brain liquefying. That’s the problem with TG Season 2, it’s completely non canon. This stuff is explained(to a degree) in the manga
