A Canadian National SD75I was pulling 13 freight cars by himself on the Hunterdon Central. He was heading for the Eastern Pacific interchange.
Rex: *Takes a deep breath of fresh air* A new day on a new railroad.
Sal: *Blows his horn twice, and catches up to Rex* Hey there.
Rex: Guessing you're new to this railroad too?
Sal: That's right. What do you say we make our trip more exciting?!
Rex: What do you have in mind?
Sal: A race!
Rex: You're on!
Both engines immediately started to gain speed. They were going over 50.

Several miles in front of them was a railroad crossing. A Ford Fusion was driving towards that crossing.
Rich Man: Okay Archibald. I think we got everything we need now. Let's head home.
Butler: Right away sir. *Turns off the road*
Once that was done, another Ford Fusion turned onto the road, heading closer to the crossing. The driver of this car was a fire marshal.
On the other side of the crossing, a teenager in a Scion TC drove towards the Fusion.
Sal: *Slowly overtaking Rex*
Rex: Oh I ain't gonna let you win!
Sal: This is just to show you that us Dash-7's still have what it takes!
Rex: Can't fault you there!

The two diesels continued their race on the mainline.

Sal: Alright, I gotta stop here to pick up some sugar! See ya around! *Slows down*

As Rex got closer to the crossing, the lights flashed, and the gates started going down. The teenager wasn't paying attention, and got startled!
Teenager: *Loses control of his car* Whoa!! *Spins in a 180, and goes backwards*
Fire Marshal: *Watching the Scion back towards him* Oh no!! *Crashes into the Scion*
Because the Marshal saw the car going towards him, he didn't notice that they stopped on the tracks!
Rex: *Applies his brakes, but hits both cars*
Stop the song. Upon impact, both cars exploded. Parts of the cars made Rex go off the rails, and he landed on his right side.
After a few minutes, fire fighters, ambulances, and police arrived to clean up the scene, and try to figure out what happened.
Doctors: *Putting the bodies from the cars into the ambulances*
Cop: *Looking at Mr. Wright's megaphone sticking out of his car* Now you're sure that crossing was working.
Mr. Wright: Absolutely. We got new lights, and bells installed about a year ago.
Cop: Okay. Well we may need a few of your engines on standby to try, and recreate the accident in cooperation with our mait team.
Mr. Wright: What's a mait team?
Cop: Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team.
Mr. Wright: And why do you need my engines?
Cop: To activate the crossing further down the line. Once you get your engine back, we can have him recall how fast he was going, and see if he was going too fast.
Worker: *Walks up to Mr. Wright* Officer, you mind if I speak to my boss for a bit?
Cop: *Backs up* Be my guest.
Worker: Rex is dead. The explosion must have scrapped him.
Mr. Wright: *Sighs* Okay. I'll see if Mr. Baldwin can lend some of his engines.
On the Eastern Pacific, Mily was going 140 miles an hour on a westbound train with six passenger cars. She was taking her train to Nova.
Mily: Alright. Time to see if I can maintain my speed up the hill!
Jesse: *Going up the hill with ten freight cars* I'm going 60, and it looks like Mily's about to overtake me.
Mily: *Blows her whistle twice as she passes Jesse* WOO HOO!!!
Jesse: Nice to see you too Mily!
Mily: *Goes down the other side of the hill, and begins to slow down* Almost there.
The Pacific safely stopped her train at Nova. All of her passengers were impressed.
Passenger 32: You never disappoint when it comes to high speed runs.
Mily: Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the ride.
Jesse: *Stops next to Mily* How fast were you going this time?
Mily: 140. Not my fastest, but I wanted to see if I could go up the hill without decreasing speed.
Jesse: And did you?
Mily: Yep.
Jesse: Well done then.
Mr. Baldwin then arrived in his car. He stuck his megaphone out of one of his windows.
Mr. Baldwin: Good, glad I could find you two. You're needed on Mr. Wright's railroad.
Jesse: What's going on?
Mr. Baldwin: A terrible wreck occurred at a crossing. The police need your help to recreate the events, and see who's at fault.
Mily: Should we take our cars to be serviced before we go?
Mr. Baldwin: Leave them here. Adam, and Victoria will take over your work. S.B's also going to help you.
Jesse: Alright. We're on our way.
When the two engines got on the Hunterdon Central, Mr. Wright greeted them from a nearby building.
Mr. Wright: Welcome you two. I wish you could be here under better circumstances, but I'm glad for your help.
Mily: Mr. Baldwin explained everything. What do you need us to do?
Mr. Wright: Well Mily, I just need you to help out with the freight traffic. Jesse should be the only engine I need for recreating the events. Now Jesse, you get on a turntable, get yourself turned around, and go straight to the Cord Street crossin'.
Jesse: Will do. *Goes to the turntable*
Mily: *Follows Jesse*
Jesse went on the turntable, while Mily took on coal, and water. Sal then stopped next to her.
Sal: I'm new here. Did you just join our railroad as well?
Mily: No. I'm visiting from the Eastern Pacific. I've been on this island for ten years.
Sal: Ah. I wish we could have more steam engines. Me, and Rex were hired to help out while one of them got repaired.
Mily: Is it Alyssa, or Kate that broke down?
Sal: I, think it was Kate.
Mily: Well I hope she gets repaired soon. I need to go, but maybe we can chat later.
Sal smiled as he watched Mily backing into the yards. He was attracted to the blue engine's beauty.
Meanwhile, the police had Jesse waiting several miles away from the railroad crossing. He was coupled to a freight with 13 cars.
Cop: *Grabs a walkie talkie* Alright S.B. Can you hear us?
S.B: *Standing on Jesse's walkway* Loud, and clear.
Cop: Our team is ready for you when you are. Come on over.
S.B: Copy. We'll accelerate to 70. Make sure you guys do your part, and we'll do ours.

Cop 43: *Driving a 2012 Scion TC*
Cop 55: *Driving a 2019 Ford Fusion*
While the recreation was going on, two more cars were racing each other as they got towards the crossing. A 2007 BMW M3 VS a 2007 RUF RGT.
Cop 35: Hey, hold it! We got two cars coming towards the scene! They're street racing!
S.B: Let us through. We'll block off the road so they can't escape.
It worked for the BMW, but the RUF turned around, and drove away.
Cop 35: *Gets into his police car, and chases the RUF*
Cop 64: *Arresting the BMW driver*
Cop 35: We'll redirect him to another crossing. Keep moving!
Jesse: Yes sir!
Cop 35: *Alongside the RUF. He forces him to turn left towards another crossing*
RUF Driver: *Sees Jesse coming towards him, and stops his car*
Jesse: *Comes to a stop as he hits the RUF*

RUF Driver: *Walks out of his car* Aw, jeez!! You hurt me!!
Jesse: Shut up! You could have done the same thing to someone else with the way you were driving!
Cop 35: *Arresting the driver* Thanks you two.
S.B: Anytime. We'll back up to our starting point, and wait for further instructions.
Cop 35: *Watching Jesse back up with his train* Okay, we're going to try this again. While we wait for Jesse to get into position, let's try to get more information to help us make an accurate recreation.
Back at the scene.
Jesse: *Passing the cops at the crossing. He blows shave and a haircut on his horn*
Cops: *Waving to Jerry*
Cop 64: Okay. So the two cars collided, and stayed on the tracks when they got hit. What was going on with the Scion?
Cop 43: Seems like it did a 180. Could have backed into the Fire Marshal's car.
Mr. Wright arrived in his car to check on the progress.
Mr. Wright: Howdy fellas. Any luck?
Cop 35: We're working on it.
A Toyota Highlander parked behind Mr. Wright's car.
Father: *Gets out, and walks over to Mr. Wright* Are you the owner of this railroad?
Mr. Wright: Why else would I stick my megaphone out of this car without allowin' you to see me?
Father: My son was one of the victims in the accident. I'm holding you responsible for his death.
Mr. Wright: Well I never even met your son, therefore I had no access to killin' him. If ya still wanna press charges, the cops are right over there.
Father: *Walks over to the cops* Hey!
Cop 35: *Looks at the man* What do you want?
Father: I'm suing the Hunterdon Central for killing my son!
Cop 35: You can't do that!
Father: Why not?
Cop 35: We don't have any evidence. No one saw how the crash occurred, so we have to try, and recreate the events to the best of our knowledge.
Father: Ever heard of security cameras?
Cop 35: We can't afford to put them on every single street, five inches apart. We'd be wasting tons of money.
Father: Wasting money?! You'd be keeping everyone safe! It's not a waste of money!
Cop 35: Well unless it starts growing on trees, we simply can't afford it.
Father: *Walks back to his car*
The crossing lights started flashing.
Father: *Runs across towards his car*
Mily: *Blows her whistle four times, then goes through with a train of four hoppers, a gondola, and two boxcars*
After her train went through the crossing, Mily stopped at a red signal. She was next to Jesse, and S.B, and decided to have a bit of a chat.
Mily: Hey guys.
S.B: Did you see how busy the cops are over at the crossing?
Mily: Yeah. I just wish that one engine who got involved didn't get scrapped.
Jesse: Unfortunately, that's what happens when you're damaged beyond repair.
Mily: I know. Keep up the good work, I got a yellow signal. *Leaves with her train*
S.B: *Gets on the walkie talkie* Alright, how much longer until we start moving?
Cop 35: You're clear. Come toward us at 50 miles an hour.
S.B: You heard 'em Jesse.
Jesse: *Pulling his 13 car train up to 50 miles an hour*
Cop 35: Okay. Get ready to drive your cars on my command!
Jesse: *Approaching the crossing at 50*
Cop 43: *Driving a 2012 Scion TC*
Cop 55: *Driving a 2019 Ford Fusion*
Cop 35: Scion, spin around, and go backwards!
The driver did just that. This was the cue for both Jesse, and the other cop in the Fusion to stop.
S.B: *Gets off of Jesse's walkway*
Cop 55: Okay, not bad.
Cop 35: Yeah. We just need to find out why the Scion spun around, and backed into the Fusion.
Cop 55: There's no tire marks, so if the Fusion slowed down, we wouldn't know.
S.B: Just out of curiosity. Do you know what the condition of the road was at the time of the accident?
Cop 43: Hmm. Excellent question.
Cop 55: We don't.
Cop 35: It could have been dry like every other stretch of road.
S.B: Well try to find out if you can.
Meanwhile, Mily was waiting at the airport depot. Her cars were being unloaded so that all of her freight could be placed onto airplanes.
Sal: *Stops next to Mily* Hey there.
Mily: Hi.
Sal: I have to say, it's really impressive how they made a freight depot near an airport.
Mily: Hey, even the planes need our help.
Sal: I'm going to the Eastern Pacific interchange. There's a few gondolas, and autoracks I have to drop off.
Mily: I'm going there myself with five boxcars.
Sal: Sweet. I'll probably see you when I head west.
Mily: *Watching Sal take off*
Brandon: *Running in reverse with no cars. He comes to a stop next to Mily* Seems like you just met Sal.
Mily: Yeah. Seems like a cool engine.
Brandon: I just wish he wouldn't go so fast. He cut me off even though I had a green signal.
Mily: Hmmm. You just gave me an idea. You know about that accident at one of your crossings, right?
Brandon: Right. Cord Street.
Mily: I really hope I'm wrong, but maybe Sal had something to do with it. I'll find out when I follow him to our interchange.

After a few minutes, Sal was on his way to the interchange. He travelled at 70 miles an hour with his three gondolas, and three autoracks.
Mily was a half mile behind, but she was catching up as she pulled her cars at 80.
Mily: Speed limit's 50. He's going way too fast.
Sal: *Hears Mily chuffing towards him*
Mily: *Blows her whistle twice* Sal, you're going over the speed limit!
Sal: Lighten up babe, we got nothing to worry about.
Mily: Sal, stop now! Please!!
Sal: *Sighs* Okay.
And just like that, the two engines safely came to a stop with their trains. The song also stops as Mily continues talking to Sal.
Mily: Don't you realize the speed limit's at 50?
Sal: Oh come on, don't tell me you follow those things 24/7.
Mily: My railroad doesn't have any speed limits, but that doesn't excuse me from following them when I'm in their vicinity.
Sal: Alright. I'll pay more attention to them from now on.
Mily: Now, I'm willing to believe you if you say otherwise. Did you cause the accident at the crossing?
Sal: You mean with Rex? I didn't push his train or anything if that's what you're implying. I raced with him, sure. However I had to stop at a siding a few miles away to get some sugar loaded into some hopper cars.
Mily: How fast do you think Rex was going?
Sal: 70?
Mily: Come with me right now.
Both trains were dropped off in a siding to be picked up later. While Sal followed Mily, they eventually came across Jesse, and S.B.
S.B: Hi Mily.
Mily: Hey. I think I got a witness for the cops. Can I speak to them?
S.B: Sarge. Mily says she knows another engine that might have more info for us. Can she come to the crossing, and speak to you?
Cop 35: Sure, have her come over with the other engine.
S.B: Alright, you're clear.
Mily: *Goes to the crossing with Sal*
Cop 35: *Watches Mily arrive with Sal*
Mily: I spoke to the diesel behind me. He said he saw Rex going over the speed limit while going to the crossing.
Cop 35: Now that could be helpful. What was his speed?
Rex: When I stopped in the siding a couple of miles down the line, he was going 70.
Cop 35: Alright, let's do one more run. S.B?
S.B: Yello.
Cop 35: Have Jesse come towards us. We need him to go 70 this time.
S.B: Yes sir.
Jesse: *Pulling his 13 car train at 70 miles an hour*
Mily: What's going to happen here?
Cop 35: Back up away from the road, and we'll show you.

As Mily moved back several feet with Sal, they waited to see the recreation.
Cop 43: Scion in position.
Cop 55: Ford in position.
Cop 35: Alright, move your cars.
Both cops started moving their cars towards the crossing.
Jesse: *Going 70 miles an hour towards the crossing*
Cop 55: *Sees the lights, and spins the car around. He then drives backwards towards the crossing*
Cop 55: *Driving towards the Scion*
Cop 35: Aaaand, cut!!
Everyone immediately stopped. The song fades away as the conversation resumed.
Cop 55: I had to put the handbrake on to do that. Maybe S.B was right about the road surface.
Cop 35: What could have caused the Scion to spin around like that?
S.B: *Looks at a fire hydrant* Perhaps there was water shooting out of that hydrant.
Cop 55: *Looks at the hydrant* You know what? You're right. I heard the fire department was checking to see if there were any defects preventing water from flowing out.
Cop 35: And that would also explain why the Fusion was driven by a Fire Marshal.
Everyone immediately heard a car pulling towards them. It was the father in his Highlander.
Father: Well. Do I get to sue the Hunterdon Central for killing my son?
Cop 35: No, and here's why.

Cop 35: While the train was speeding, the gates were warning all drivers to stop.
Teenager: *Getting distracted as he looks to his right*
Cop 35: Your son saw a fire hydrant shooting water onto the street. He was too busy focusing on the water to notice the crossing. The water also made the road surface slippery, which made him spin around.
Teenager: *Loses control of his car* Whoa!! *Spins in a 180, and goes backwards*
Cop 35: While he was going backwards, a fire marshal was on his way to check that hydrant. Little did he know, your son was coming toward him in reverse.
Fire Marshal: *Watching the Scion back towards him* Oh no!! *Crashes into the Scion*
Cop 35: And with no time to react, the train hit, and killed them both.
The song stops as Rex hit the cars, making them explode.
Cop 35: Now even if he was following the speed limit, that engine still wouldn't have stopped in time.
Father: It could have been avoided if he was going slower!
Cop 35: But it also could have been avoided if your son didn't lose control of his car!
S.B: *Walks up to the man* You know, I'd probably feel the same way if my son was killed. Though you have to understand, if your son paid attention to the lights, and not the hydrant, he could still be with you.
Father: Yes, but their train was still going too fast! I want the Hunterdon Central to lose money for this negligence!
S.B: That engine was scrapped! I mean with all these deaths that occurred during the accident, I can safely say we had enough loss from this tragedy. How much more could you possibly ask for?
Father: *Starts getting a headache* I don't know what to think now.
S.B: The way I think, I'd say both the Hunterdon Central, and your son are responsible for the accident. I'll let Mr. Wright, and the police decide what to do from here, but I think pressing charges for something caused by your son won't do you any good.
Father: You're right. If anything, we should split the costs to compensate for that Fire Marshal's family.
Cop 35: Now you're making some sense.
S.B: You do what you have to do. I'm going home with my friends. *Walks over to Mily
Mily: Want a cabride?
S.B: You know it. *Climbs into Mily's cab* Let's go back to the Eastern Pacific.
And with that, Mily, and Jesse went back to their railroad. The father, the cops, and Sal watched as the two engines went back to their railroad with S.B in the cab of the blue pacific.

Jesse went on the turntable, while Mily took on coal, and water. Sal then stopped next to her.
Sal: I'm new here. Did you just join our railroad as well?
Mily: No. I'm visiting from the Eastern Pacific. I've been on this island for ten years.
Sal: Ah. I wish we could have more steam engines. Me, and Rex were hired to help out while one of them got repaired.
Mily: Is it Alyssa, or Kate that broke down?
Sal: I, think it was Kate.
Mily: Well I hope she gets repaired soon. I need to go, but maybe we can chat later.
Sal smiled as he watched Mily backing into the yards. He was attracted to the blue engine's beauty.
Meanwhile, the police had Jesse waiting several miles away from the railroad crossing. He was coupled to a freight with 13 cars.
Cop: *Grabs a walkie talkie* Alright S.B. Can you hear us?
S.B: *Standing on Jesse's walkway* Loud, and clear.
Cop: Our team is ready for you when you are. Come on over.
S.B: Copy. We'll accelerate to 70. Make sure you guys do your part, and we'll do ours.

Jesse: *Pulling his 13 car train up to 70 miles an hour*
Cop 43: *Driving a 2012 Scion TC*
Cop 55: *Driving a 2019 Ford Fusion*
While the recreation was going on, two more cars were racing each other as they got towards the crossing. A 2007 BMW M3 VS a 2007 RUF RGT.
Cop 35: Hey, hold it! We got two cars coming towards the scene! They're street racing!
S.B: Let us through. We'll block off the road so they can't escape.
It worked for the BMW, but the RUF turned around, and drove away.
Cop 35: *Gets into his police car, and chases the RUF*
Cop 64: *Arresting the BMW driver*
Cop 35: We'll redirect him to another crossing. Keep moving!
Jesse: Yes sir!
Cop 35: *Alongside the RUF. He forces him to turn left towards another crossing*
RUF Driver: *Sees Jesse coming towards him, and stops his car*
Jesse: *Comes to a stop as he hits the RUF*
Stop the song
RUF Driver: *Walks out of his car* Aw, jeez!! You hurt me!!
Jesse: Shut up! You could have done the same thing to someone else with the way you were driving!
Cop 35: *Arresting the driver* Thanks you two.
S.B: Anytime. We'll back up to our starting point, and wait for further instructions.
Cop 35: *Watching Jesse back up with his train* Okay, we're going to try this again. While we wait for Jesse to get into position, let's try to get more information to help us make an accurate recreation.
Back at the scene.
Jesse: *Passing the cops at the crossing. He blows shave and a haircut on his horn*
Cops: *Waving to Jerry*
Cop 64: Okay. So the two cars collided, and stayed on the tracks when they got hit. What was going on with the Scion?
Cop 43: Seems like it did a 180. Could have backed into the Fire Marshal's car.
Mr. Wright arrived in his car to check on the progress.
Mr. Wright: Howdy fellas. Any luck?
Cop 35: We're working on it.
A Toyota Highlander parked behind Mr. Wright's car.
Father: *Gets out, and walks over to Mr. Wright* Are you the owner of this railroad?
Mr. Wright: Why else would I stick my megaphone out of this car without allowin' you to see me?
Father: My son was one of the victims in the accident. I'm holding you responsible for his death.
Mr. Wright: Well I never even met your son, therefore I had no access to killin' him. If ya still wanna press charges, the cops are right over there.
Father: *Walks over to the cops* Hey!
Cop 35: *Looks at the man* What do you want?
Father: I'm suing the Hunterdon Central for killing my son!
Cop 35: You can't do that!
Father: Why not?
Cop 35: We don't have any evidence. No one saw how the crash occurred, so we have to try, and recreate the events to the best of our knowledge.
Father: Ever heard of security cameras?
Cop 35: We can't afford to put them on every single street, five inches apart. We'd be wasting tons of money.
Father: Wasting money?! You'd be keeping everyone safe! It's not a waste of money!
Cop 35: Well unless it starts growing on trees, we simply can't afford it.
Father: *Walks back to his car*
The crossing lights started flashing.
Father: *Runs across towards his car*
Mily: *Blows her whistle four times, then goes through with a train of four hoppers, a gondola, and two boxcars*
After her train went through the crossing, Mily stopped at a red signal. She was next to Jesse, and S.B, and decided to have a bit of a chat.
Mily: Hey guys.
S.B: Did you see how busy the cops are over at the crossing?
Mily: Yeah. I just wish that one engine who got involved didn't get scrapped.
Jesse: Unfortunately, that's what happens when you're damaged beyond repair.
Mily: I know. Keep up the good work, I got a yellow signal. *Leaves with her train*
S.B: *Gets on the walkie talkie* Alright, how much longer until we start moving?
Cop 35: You're clear. Come toward us at 50 miles an hour.
S.B: You heard 'em Jesse.
Jesse: *Pulling his 13 car train up to 50 miles an hour*
Cop 35: Okay. Get ready to drive your cars on my command!
Jesse: *Approaching the crossing at 50*
Cop 43: *Driving a 2012 Scion TC*
Cop 55: *Driving a 2019 Ford Fusion*
Cop 35: Scion, spin around, and go backwards!
The driver did just that. This was the cue for both Jesse, and the other cop in the Fusion to stop.
S.B: *Gets off of Jesse's walkway*
Cop 55: Okay, not bad.
Cop 35: Yeah. We just need to find out why the Scion spun around, and backed into the Fusion.
Cop 55: There's no tire marks, so if the Fusion slowed down, we wouldn't know.
S.B: Just out of curiosity. Do you know what the condition of the road was at the time of the accident?
Cop 43: Hmm. Excellent question.
Cop 55: We don't.
Cop 35: It could have been dry like every other stretch of road.
S.B: Well try to find out if you can.
Meanwhile, Mily was waiting at the airport depot. Her cars were being unloaded so that all of her freight could be placed onto airplanes.
Sal: *Stops next to Mily* Hey there.
Mily: Hi.
Sal: I have to say, it's really impressive how they made a freight depot near an airport.
Mily: Hey, even the planes need our help.
Sal: I'm going to the Eastern Pacific interchange. There's a few gondolas, and autoracks I have to drop off.
Mily: I'm going there myself with five boxcars.
Sal: Sweet. I'll probably see you when I head west.
Mily: *Watching Sal take off*
Brandon: *Running in reverse with no cars. He comes to a stop next to Mily* Seems like you just met Sal.
Mily: Yeah. Seems like a cool engine.
Brandon: I just wish he wouldn't go so fast. He cut me off even though I had a green signal.
Mily: Hmmm. You just gave me an idea. You know about that accident at one of your crossings, right?
Brandon: Right. Cord Street.
Mily: I really hope I'm wrong, but maybe Sal had something to do with it. I'll find out when I follow him to our interchange.

After a few minutes, Sal was on his way to the interchange. He travelled at 70 miles an hour with his three gondolas, and three autoracks.
Mily was a half mile behind, but she was catching up as she pulled her cars at 80.
Mily: Speed limit's 50. He's going way too fast.
Sal: *Hears Mily chuffing towards him*
Mily: *Blows her whistle twice* Sal, you're going over the speed limit!
Sal: Lighten up babe, we got nothing to worry about.
Mily: Sal, stop now! Please!!
Sal: *Sighs* Okay.
And just like that, the two engines safely came to a stop with their trains. The song also stops as Mily continues talking to Sal.
Mily: Don't you realize the speed limit's at 50?
Sal: Oh come on, don't tell me you follow those things 24/7.
Mily: My railroad doesn't have any speed limits, but that doesn't excuse me from following them when I'm in their vicinity.
Sal: Alright. I'll pay more attention to them from now on.
Mily: Now, I'm willing to believe you if you say otherwise. Did you cause the accident at the crossing?
Sal: You mean with Rex? I didn't push his train or anything if that's what you're implying. I raced with him, sure. However I had to stop at a siding a few miles away to get some sugar loaded into some hopper cars.
Mily: How fast do you think Rex was going?
Sal: 70?
Mily: Come with me right now.
Both trains were dropped off in a siding to be picked up later. While Sal followed Mily, they eventually came across Jesse, and S.B.
S.B: Hi Mily.
Mily: Hey. I think I got a witness for the cops. Can I speak to them?
S.B: Sarge. Mily says she knows another engine that might have more info for us. Can she come to the crossing, and speak to you?
Cop 35: Sure, have her come over with the other engine.
S.B: Alright, you're clear.
Mily: *Goes to the crossing with Sal*
Cop 35: *Watches Mily arrive with Sal*
Mily: I spoke to the diesel behind me. He said he saw Rex going over the speed limit while going to the crossing.
Cop 35: Now that could be helpful. What was his speed?
Rex: When I stopped in the siding a couple of miles down the line, he was going 70.
Cop 35: Alright, let's do one more run. S.B?
S.B: Yello.
Cop 35: Have Jesse come towards us. We need him to go 70 this time.
S.B: Yes sir.
Jesse: *Pulling his 13 car train at 70 miles an hour*
Mily: What's going to happen here?
Cop 35: Back up away from the road, and we'll show you.

As Mily moved back several feet with Sal, they waited to see the recreation.
Cop 43: Scion in position.
Cop 55: Ford in position.
Cop 35: Alright, move your cars.
Both cops started moving their cars towards the crossing.
Jesse: *Going 70 miles an hour towards the crossing*
Cop 55: *Sees the lights, and spins the car around. He then drives backwards towards the crossing*
Cop 55: *Driving towards the Scion*
Cop 35: Aaaand, cut!!
Everyone immediately stopped. The song fades away as the conversation resumed.
Cop 55: I had to put the handbrake on to do that. Maybe S.B was right about the road surface.
Cop 35: What could have caused the Scion to spin around like that?
S.B: *Looks at a fire hydrant* Perhaps there was water shooting out of that hydrant.
Cop 55: *Looks at the hydrant* You know what? You're right. I heard the fire department was checking to see if there were any defects preventing water from flowing out.
Cop 35: And that would also explain why the Fusion was driven by a Fire Marshal.
Everyone immediately heard a car pulling towards them. It was the father in his Highlander.
Father: Well. Do I get to sue the Hunterdon Central for killing my son?
Cop 35: No, and here's why.

Cop 35: While the train was speeding, the gates were warning all drivers to stop.
Teenager: *Getting distracted as he looks to his right*
Cop 35: Your son saw a fire hydrant shooting water onto the street. He was too busy focusing on the water to notice the crossing. The water also made the road surface slippery, which made him spin around.
Teenager: *Loses control of his car* Whoa!! *Spins in a 180, and goes backwards*
Cop 35: While he was going backwards, a fire marshal was on his way to check that hydrant. Little did he know, your son was coming toward him in reverse.
Fire Marshal: *Watching the Scion back towards him* Oh no!! *Crashes into the Scion*
Cop 35: And with no time to react, the train hit, and killed them both.
The song stops as Rex hit the cars, making them explode.
Cop 35: Now even if he was following the speed limit, that engine still wouldn't have stopped in time.
Father: It could have been avoided if he was going slower!
Cop 35: But it also could have been avoided if your son didn't lose control of his car!
S.B: *Walks up to the man* You know, I'd probably feel the same way if my son was killed. Though you have to understand, if your son paid attention to the lights, and not the hydrant, he could still be with you.
Father: Yes, but their train was still going too fast! I want the Hunterdon Central to lose money for this negligence!
S.B: That engine was scrapped! I mean with all these deaths that occurred during the accident, I can safely say we had enough loss from this tragedy. How much more could you possibly ask for?
Father: *Starts getting a headache* I don't know what to think now.
S.B: The way I think, I'd say both the Hunterdon Central, and your son are responsible for the accident. I'll let Mr. Wright, and the police decide what to do from here, but I think pressing charges for something caused by your son won't do you any good.
Father: You're right. If anything, we should split the costs to compensate for that Fire Marshal's family.
Cop 35: Now you're making some sense.
S.B: You do what you have to do. I'm going home with my friends. *Walks over to Mily
Mily: Want a cabride?
S.B: You know it. *Climbs into Mily's cab* Let's go back to the Eastern Pacific.
And with that, Mily, and Jesse went back to their railroad. The father, the cops, and Sal watched as the two engines went back to their railroad with S.B in the cab of the blue pacific.

Danielle: What is going on back there?
Worker 1: We're checking the track to make sure it's safe for you.
Worker 3: We don't want you getting derailed.
Danielle: Well hurry up. I have a train to pull.
Narrator: Danielle didn't like being late, and she definitely did not like being held up, because of maintenance crews. Fifty minutes passed before it was safe for Danielle to proceed to her train in the yard....
