I just loved in The Office UK how David Brent became a minor celebrity and it totally went to his head. It'd be funny to see how each character reacts to having their private lives shown on national television.

It would definitely be an interesting episode. I wouldn't be fully against the idea.

That would be cool but probably not until the last season (which is hopefully not this next one!)

I agree, doonis. I think all the private things the characters said in the talking heads would cause this huge rift in the office, and it just wouldn't be the same afterwards.

I believe that will be the focus of the series finale, but I also believe that it may be a series documentary on PBS (the United States Public Broadcasting Service) (which is why this isn't going to their head, because you know... It's only PBS).

I like the office just like it is.

And isn't the show the documentary, but without narration?
Plus this would be super long and it might actually become annoying after awhile.

I love the Office, but I think they're kind of beating it to death, to be honest. I mean, there's still great stuff going on, but it's seeming like more and more of a genaric comdey then "The Office", you know?

I want The Office to end on a high, I don't want to wait for it to get cancelled or something...

i agree with tvman... that would make for a great series finale... if they air this documentary too soon, then where else is there to go from there?

i always just had this idea thoguh that michael and his camera crew...well,...he sort of just hired them just because...because he's michael--and really no deeper reason than that.
