Never thought about it, but after seeing the Broadway The Little Mermaid, I thought it would be nice if the film had them and Flounder do "She's in Love" number, a sequence of them looking for Ariel, and another one about them worrying about Ariel's safety before Ursula turned into a giant, leading to the battle scene.
Poor sisters, with ridiculous hairstyles, weird voices and not so pretty faces... They didn’t have to look so pathetic so that Ariel could stand out. In the third movie they look better. And I really like to see the girls interacting with each other.
It sort of annoyed me that Ariel was the center of everything. Of course, it was her movie, but she was obviously the center of Triton's life as well. She was going to be entering the musical in a giant clam for crying out loud..
Nah. They didn't really interest me in the first movie, nor in Little Mermaid III. They were kind of boring girls, and always having petty fights to be honest...
