FFH is not that very well known and it's one of my favorite movies. Todd Haynes great direction, beautiful cinematography, reference to Douglas Sirk movies and one of my favorite Julianne Moore performances ♥

love this idea ;)

so i thought a lot which movie to pick and finally decided on this one. i saw it recently and it immediately became one of my ultimate favorites.it deals with love, loss and heart-break in a very unique way.it has a sci-fi aspect and idea it's really intersting imo.a sort of treatment that allows you to erase your memories of someone and the releationship you had with them, but it actualy really makes you appreciate and fight for waht you had to begin with.
it has the always amazing kate winslet and one of jim carrey's best roles.:)

p.s. i have seen and LOVE leon and will make sure to watch far from heaven soon.;)

Howard Hawks movie with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn, it couldn't go wrong. It's a classic romcom and absolutely amazing and delightful imo. And have I mentioned Cary Grant? *sigh*

So, finally joined. :P
Life Is Beautiful, Italian comedy about... Holocaust. Jewish family is taken to concentration camp, and father is trying to keep spirit in his son, saying that all is a game and if they will play with the rules and get 1.000 points, they will win a task. Despite everything, you're laughing, you can't help but smile. And at the end you cry river. Such an amazing movie, it gave me all the feelings. :') </3

and I've seen both Leon and Sixth Sense, totally amazing! One of my favourites, actually.
Wanna see Eternal sunshine... so badly. The rest too. :)

Wow, some great choices that I've always wanted to see are on here! I haven't seen any though, so it looks like I have some great movies to be introduced to.
The presteige is one of my favourite movies, its got Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johanson, Micheal Caine and Christian Bale in it. Its about two magicians in the eighteenth century who are trying to outdo each other. What I love about it is that it keeps you guessing.Hope you like it if you decide to watch it!

I'm so predictable. Choose just one movie is hard!

Oh American History X has been on my list forever!

I watched The Prestige. I felt pretty meh about it, I wasn't engaged in the story and I didn't care at all about the characters (actually they annoyed me) and the performances were pretty weak. Also I realize I have a problem with Nolan and Bale

Guillermo del Toro is definitely interesting director. And this movie... One of my ultimate favourites. It's hard to actually describe it. It's like a classic fairytale... set in a horror. But it's not horror. It's fantasy in a violent reality. Also, it's so pretty, shots are seriously gorgeous. You just need to watch it by yourself.

YES! I love him! I haven't seen that many movies with him though. Did you know he and Audrey were engaged for a while? this: "I was determined to wipe Audrey out of my mind by screwing a woman in every country I visited. My plan succeeded, though sometimes with difficulty. When I was in Bangkok, I was with a Thai girl in a boat in one of the klongs. I guess we got too animated, because the boat tipped over and I fell into the filthy water. Back at the hotel I poured alcohol in my ears because I was afraid I’d become infected with the plague. When I got back to Hollywood, I went to Audrey’s dressing-room and told her what I had done. You know what she sad? “Oh, Bill!” That’s all. “Oh, Bill!”. Just as though I were some naughty boy. … She was the love of my life." <3333333
