The small band ran as far away from the policeman as they could, finally stopping for breath in a little park some distance away. "We shouldn't've let him scare us," Winston decided, once the four of them got their breath back. "We can't let them police push us around. We know we're going to the Toppermost of the Poppermost, and we can't let their silly rules stop us."
Geo and Ringo both nodded, but Paul was uncomfortable. "Winston," he reminded his friend, "we can't do much performing from in the police station."
"Oh, that's right, I'd forgotten," Winston turned his smile on Paul appraisingly....

July 8, 1957. Just four days left to somehow get Paul and John to meet.
My heart pounded as we neared the train on its platform, this time not only because Paul was holding my hand. This train was a lot bigger, bulkier, and scarier than the ones in my time, spewing black smoke into the air around it. I wasn’t sure I trusted it to take us all the way to Wales without breaking down or worse. And I didn’t know if we would be able to pull off jumping on the train without tickets. And I didn’t know for sure if John was even here. I kept glancing around the platform, looking to see if I could...

A few days passed since the Beatles finally released their new album, which had been titled "Help!". Their brainstorming paid off as it earned positive reviews from both the fans and music critics and was on its way to becoming a bestseller in record shops. While George and Laura were waiting for their lunch at a nearby restaurant, the former opened a special letter that was sent to them earlier this morning. Laura said, "I wonder what that letter is all about, daddy George." George replied as he unfolded it, "Oh, wow! It's from Buckingham Palace, Laura, darling! Want me to read the message...

“But...” I stared at Paul in horror, rubbing my arms against the chilly night air. Who knew it could get so chilly outdoors in summer? “If we can’t get back on the train, how will we – how will you get home?” It would only be Paul getting home, of course, I wasn’t going home for another – what was it now? Three days? Only three days left to get Paul and John together....
“We’ll find a way.” Paul put his arm round my shoulders. “Dad won’t be happy, though.”
I pressed closer to Paul, trying to believe him and not worry that I might have gotten him in trouble. “Is your...

It was exactly thirty minutes past seven when the group made it to the grand ballroom. Once inside, they went straight to the changing rooms to wear their formal outfits. And just like what his daughter said earlier, George looked all the more dashing in his tuxedo. The same goes for his mates. Laura, on the other hand, wore a cute and sparkly lavender dress. As Elizabeth and Philip saw them again, the former remarked, "Those are some lovely outfits, my friends!" George replied, "Thank you, ma'am! I say the same thing to you both." Philip asked, "Did you enjoy your evening walk, too?" John...

John made his way through the crowded streets of New York. With no way of knowing where his mates could have gotten to, there was nothing to be done except wander around until he found them. They probably weren't still in Central Park by this time - not if John had really been knocked out for hours.
There was something funny about that. If it weren't for the change in daylight, he could've sworn that he had only been knocked out for less than a second. He didn't feel like he had been lying there for hours. And either way, why had his mates wandered off?
That wasn't the only strange thing John...

Paul was depressed.
He had come back to Liverpool with his father, who thought that Paul was being silly and unreasonable in not wanting to leave those unsavoury boys and come home with him. He thought Paul would be happy again once things were back to normal, and had set about trying to make Paul's life the way it had been before he'd left. After more than a month of concerts with his band, Paul found this mundane and unsatisfying, and having to attend school and do homework and chores after being so close to becoming famous was torture.
Paul was late starting high school, but the other people...

The sun had just begun to set when everyone made it to Windsor Castle later that evening. The Beatles and Laura were so amazed by the size of the fortress that they couldn't help but gaze at it for a while after George parked his car. Laura said, "This place is HUGE, daddy George! I've never seen anything like it." He replied, "Neither have I, Laura, darling! I bet the inside is a lot of fun to explore." John, Paul, and Ringo agreed. Philip said, "Heh, heh! That's what you're about to experience, chaps! While my wife and I help in getting the ball ready, we'll give you some free time to walk around. Remember to be back by 7:30!" George said, "All right, sir! We will keep that in mind." Philip smiled cheekily and winked in return. They then followed the couple inside and started their tour. John also got a map of the Castle from the visitor center as a reference guide.

The rest of the day passed in a blur. After the bus took me back to the hostel, I spent a lot of time wandering around the streets looking for a newspaper office, not knowing what a newspaper office even looked like. Eventually I had to ask directions, and then I spent an hour annoying the people at the newspaper office by having no idea how to put a classified ad in the paper. I think eventually they let me put it in just to get rid of me. But I did manage it.
The ad I put in said: "John Lennon: Gloria Voyager is staying at" followed by the name of the hostel. Short and simple, the way I was...

Well, she was just 17
You know what I mean
And the way she looked was way beyond compare
So how could I dance with another (Ooh)
When I saw her standing there

Well she looked at me, and I, I could see
That before too long I'd fall in love with her
She wouldn't dance with another (Whooh)
When I saw her standing there

Well, my heart went "boom"
When I crossed that room
And I held her hand in mine...

Whoah, we danced through the night
And we held each other tight
And before too long I fell in love with her
Now I'll never dance with another (Whooh)
Since I saw her standing there

Well, my heart went "boom"
When I crossed that room
And I held her hand in mine...

Whoah, we danced through the night
And we held each other tight
And before too long I fell in love with her
Now I'll never dance with another (Whooh)

The Beatles and Laura had a blast while spending their free time exploring around the Castle. It was also a good thing that many areas were well-lighted, especially the wide courtyards. In addition, the walk allowed them to catch a glimpse of the building which houses Elizabeth and Philip's private apartment as well as making their way to the nearby park. Laura said while riding on George's shoulders, "You know, daddy George? With my new Corgi, my toy rabbit will soon be having a new friend!" He replied, "That is true, Laura, darling! I'm sure you'll enjoy sleeping with them on your side, too."...

Yoko had short black hair and an indefinably unconventional look, and was about eighty. Her apartment was filled with various art projects, some much stranger than others. She didn't seem to recognize John or George at all, and George was rather surprised she'd even agreed to let them into her home. Although it was strange that she didn't recognize them. Wasn't John supposed to have been married to her?
"Who are you?" she said to them, once they'd come in.
"I told you, I'm John." John leaned closer to her. "Can't you tell?"
Yoko frowned. "You can't be John. You don't look anything like him. Besides,...

John needed to do something, and fast. He was the bandleader. He couldn't let anything happen to any of his mates.
The Beast lifted his huge, fanged head and growled a terrible growl at Ringo again, who looked absolutely terrified but refused to let go. His Crown seemed to be glowing brighter as he struggled with the Beast. The Beast didn't seem to like that at all, his eyes blinking in a very disturbing way as he stared murderously at Ringo. Hmm. John glanced down at George, partly just to make sure he was still all right. George was unmoving, except his whole body was trembling, but his hand...

After the dance ball came to an end, everyone went to have a tasty buffet dinner at the Castle's dining room. As they started eating the dishes that they picked, John told Elizabeth, "We'd like to thank you again for inviting us over to spend the day with you and Philip. We had loads of fun!" She replied, "It was my great pleasure, John! We also enjoyed your company." Paul said, "Y'know, ma'am? This may sound a bit flattering, but you're just like a mum to us." John, George, Ringo, and Laura nodded in agreement. Elizabeth smiled and responded, "Why, thank you, Paul. I'll take that as a compliment."...

I’m so excited!!!
I bounced down onto my bed with joy, still hardly able to believe that the big day had come. That I had been allowed to do this at all. It isn't easy, after all, to get accepted to time travel.
I glanced down at my phone screen, rereading for the thousandth time my email of confirmation from the Ministry of Time Travel. “Miss Gloria Voyager, this is to inform you that we have accepted your request to travel back in time to the dates of July 4 – July 11, 1957. Tap the attached link to open your Time Traveller, which will self-delete after you have returned to the present.”...

So we all know that "In My Life" is John's first autobiographical song, and he's singing about people and places he used to know and all that. Or if you didn't know, well, that's what I've heard about it anyway, and it rings true to me. But if we interpret the song like that, there's still one part that's a little confusing.
"In my life, I love you more".
Who is John talking about? Who did his life culminate in loving, so that in 1965, he can say he loves this "you" more than anything or anyone?
When first listening to the song, my first thought was always that he meant a girlfriend. But if the...

Maureen found me the address of the hotel Ringo was staying in while he was recording or touring - even she wasn't sure which it was. She offered to drive me there, too, but she wouldn't go in with me. "I don't know what he'll say if I'm there. I think you'd better do this on your own." But she did give me a slip of paper she had signed, saying that I had to get in to see Ringo and should be allowed into his room. "That'll stop them giving you trouble at the front desk," Maureen said with satisfaction.
The hotel in question was quite a fancy one, nicer than any I had ever stayed it, though I...

First off thank you, Layla for the inspiration to write this. Tbh, I think every Beatles fan should avoid this movie! Here's why.
First off no disrespect to John Lennon, he's a wonderful actor, singer, writer and activist. But this film is not good. It stars Michael Crawford (great actor) and he's basically narrating the film. The movie starts off funny and campy complete with John Lennon's amazing wit and playful banter! His haircut and glasses combo is also really cool! But when hasn't he ever looked wonderful!? The film so far seems like a winner. The chemistry between him and Michael is...

This is what happened, back in the year 1966.
When Brian Epstein passed by the Cavern Club, noticing a teenage girl who was staring right at him and wearing very strange clothing, only to see her suddenly disappear, he concluded he must be overworked. People usually do in cases like these. He made himself an appointment with the doctor, who told him he would do best to go on a relaxing vacation and not think about work for the rest of the year.
But Brian Epstein had already planned out the Beatles' tour schedule. How could they do their tours if he wasn't allowed to keep an eye on them? There...
