Deva ( Surya Sivakumar ) arrives at the
Chennai International Airport after running
an errand for Arumuga Dass (Prabhu
Ganesan ) of smuggling pre-release pirated
movies on DVD. The two leave for their
hideout and instruct Dilli ( Karunas), a
hearing-impaired assistant of Dass, to
make copies of the DVD. Just when police
crews arrive into their vicinity, Dass
informs Deva and the rest to leave. Deva
tells the others to leave while he quickly
sets up the burning process. Deva also
leaves the hideout just in time. However,
the police officers arrive at the hideout,
only to see the burning process of the
DVDs...

gangster film directed by N. Lingusamy , and
produced under his own banner Thirupathi Brothers.

with anything less than complete enthusiasm. Bala's
next effort Nandha was well-made but more than a little
disappointing compared to its predecessor. But the
director has regained a lot of the lost ground with his
third effort Pithamagan . With unique characterization,
tremendous performances and a smooth screenplay, the
movie offers a satisfying experience to the discerning
viewer willing to go along with its unhurried pace and
stark, serious storyline.

Has director Vikraman run out of ideas? This is what
one feels after watching his latest film Unnai Ninaithu.
The film is nothing but a rehash of his earlier hits and is
long winded and extremely slow paced mainly due to
illogical story, songs pushed into the narrative and a
jarring comedy track.
The story is set in an old mansion turned into a lodge.

There are a lot of speculations about
Venkat Prabhu's next with Suriya. The
film has Suriya, Nayanthara and Amy
Jackson playing the lead and Yuvan
Shankar Raja scoring the music. Since
Suriya is on the verge of completing his
project with Lingusaamy, Anjaan, he is
likely to start Venkat Prabhu's venture
soon.
The latest we hear about the film is that
it has been titled Poochandi. Considering
Venkat Prabhu's love for comedy, there
are expectations that the film will be
laced with humour and comedy. If it's a
horror comedy, which has been well
received in the recent past, it is sure to
