And JP say's when Elena remembers what Damon did it will add more fuel to the fire between her and Damon.

Hey guys! Just read another Julie Plec interview. She said Damon might get a new romance toward the middle or end of season 4. By new romance, I assume ( or hope) that means he finally moves on from Elena & gets his own girl. This is what I wanted all along, for stelena to prevail while Damon falls in love with someone else. I just read somewhere that Stefan is Elena's "security blanket".... And that in season 4 she will choose Damon because she won't want "safe" anymore. Now, in a sense, yes I get how Stefan is the safe choice because she is comfortable with him and has already dated him for so long.... But in a way isn't Damon her safety net too? This has nothing to do with anything but I just had a moment when I realized how Elena got her head injury. During the finale when Meredith said Elena had internal bleeding, I was like "Woah, that's so random..." but then today I realized that it was from when Klaus was taking all of her blood and Tyler tried to saved her and she fell and hit her head on the floor. The scene with DE from the past was ridiculous in my opinion because:
A) They were just trying to even the odds on Damon and Stefan cos Elena said she had known Stefan first
AND
B) Damon was acting like his season 3 self instead of being a jerk like he was in season 1 (even if I loved him like that)

Stefan is AMAZING for letting Elena die! People can complain all they want! Damon would've taken her choice away, YES, but this just proves he loves her like a parent and not an equal/lover! He NEEDS to let Elena make her own decisions! I don't see how Rose can say he "empowers" her when he doesn't even allow her this small courtesy. :/

GAHHHHHHHH!!!!! I'm still like freaking out over this episode. That was AMAZING. First the kiss... which was PERFECT... and then Elena choosing Stefan and then Stefan saving Matt first because that's what Elena wanted... AHHH!

And the rest of the episode was just crazy!! With the whole Tyler/Klaus thing, and Alaric trying to kill everybody and then coming back as Rick to say goodbye, and just everything!

In the end though, I knew it was always going to be Stefan. Even Damon said it. <3
