Star Wars fans do you think? To see the return of Mark Hamill as \'Luke Skywalker\', follow the continuing adventures of new characters \'Rey\', \'Finn\' and \'Poe Dameron\', or watch the final performance by Carrie Fisher as \'General Leia Organa\' in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Maybe the answer that that question is all of the above.
Daily Billboard thinks what\'s really refreshing about these new movies is that they are totally original and charting a new course and are not adapted from a book or comic, plus as they\'re shrouded in secrecy everyone gets to enjoy the story unfold on the big screen as they are watching with their popcorn and fellow cinema goers.
The Force Awakens continued the tale of the battle between the light and dark sides of the Force thirty years after the end of Return of the Jedi, and we were left at the end of the film with the Force-strong Jakku scavenger Rey holding out Luke\'s lightsaber to the Jedi Master.
These striking red-themed billboards for the new movie hint at a new direction and darker times ahead for our plucky cast of characters.
Luke train Daisy Ridley\'s Rey in the ways of the Force, who were her parents and why did they abandon her, and will she be tempted by the dark side?
First Order Stormtrooper Finn (John Boyega) recover from his injuries at the hands of \'Han Solo\' and Leia\'s estranged son, \'Kylo Ren\' and will \'Captain Phasma\' want her revenge for his betrayal (and shoving her into a trash compactor)?
Oscar Isaac\'s daring Resistance pilot and will be discover how \'Supreme Leader Snoke\' lured Adam Driver\'s Kylo Ren to the dark side?
What\'s obvious is that there are so many mysteries of the past, and the future, to be unlocked by this continuation of the
Joining all the familiar faces this time around will also be all-new characters and creatures, like
Kelly Marie Tran\'s \'Rose Tico\', Benicio Del Toro\'s \'DJ\' and Laura Dern\'s \'Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo\', plus
Porgs, Vulptex crystalline foxes and other alien species.
The Empire Strikes Back is seen as one of the best movie sequels ever, so there\'s just a little bit of pressure for writer and director Rian Johnson to deliver a thrilling follow-up to 2015\'s continuation of the Star Wars space opera.
These supercool billboards were photographed along
Lankershim Boulevard, La Brea Avenue, Pico Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard, Beverly Boulevard, Cahuenga Boulevard, Riverside Drive, Ventura Boulevard, the Sunset Strip and at The Grove from November 28 to December 1, 2017.

Fans of the sci-fi saga can also enjoy these movie costumes from
The Last Jedi, but we all know it won\'t be the last Star Wars film to get excited about.
Jedis, Stormtroopers, space fights, droids, aliens, bounty hunters and evil empires, you couldn\'t ask for a better early Christmas present.
