may all the souls R.I.P... 9/11 was tragic, but the 2 heros on the 88th floor sacfifice their lives and they saved more than 77 ppl in the north tower. they went all the way up to the 93rd floor where the plane hit. remember ninteen hijackers, 4 planes, more than 2000 dead, and 10 years later. this is truly history in the making! we love all u ppl who sacrificed their lives even though we didn't know u personally. u r truly in our prayers and always in our hearts! we love u! Thank you all who sacraficed your lifes for the better of this country. Thank you all who died trying to stop the 4th airplane from possibly hitting the White House. You guys were brave and will always be remembered in my heart. Thank you to all the firemen who died in the Twin Towers. Watching Channel 7, they are at the memorial. Everyone that died Is being said, and the people saying it have lost people close to them too. It just breaks my heart when they say their speeches deticated to them. One little boy lost his father, he never got to see him because he was yet to be born. They rang a bell to when the South and North Tower fell, I only caught the 10:28 bell, which is when the North Tower fell. People have written poem and little speeches, which bring me to peices. This was my birthday. Hospitalized for my lung disease when I was only 3 my mom holding my in her arm while watching the news. And there it was that plane. Late news I heard my dad died too. that saddest day of my life on my birthday.

I will never forget the people who risked their lives to save others. I know everyone says that, and means it. I know I can't help with the monument because I'm too young, I know I can't help with the planting of the trees, but I can and will help the mourning souls.

Right now, I'm watching Rising on Discovery. I found out that on the 10th anivercery, the monument will be 1000 feet in the NYC skyline. In 2012 it will be finnished, and be 1765 feet. Posted over a year ago

I just joined this site today and realize that I'm probably one of the oldest ones here. (I'm 53 years old and was 43 when 9/11 happened.) It still bothers me ten years later to watch anything about that day. The firefighters deaths still make me cry. My late father was a firefighter for nearly 35 years and I have the upmost respect for these individuals who put their lives on the line to protect us, police officers included.
