Selena Gomez was born in Texas on July 30, 1992. She has dark brown, curly hair and pretty brown eyes.
When she was about eight years old, she decided she wanted to be an actress. So her mom took her to an audition with 1,000 people, and she later appeared on the 2000 season of Barney.
While on the set of Barney, Selena became friends with Demi Lovato, who was on Barney, too. Demi and Selena have been close friends ever since.
Selena soon started guest starring on shows like "Hannah Monatana" and "the Suite Life of Zack and Cody." And she later starred in the Disney Channel original series "Wizards of Waverly Place."
Selena Gomez is also in the two movies "Another Cinderella Story" and "Princess Protection Program". She stars in PPP (Princess Protection Program) with Demi Lovato.
