Does anyone know how Selena Gomez became famous?

Selena started acting in Barney & friends when she was 7. she played the role as Gianna. then she had minor roles in Game Over, Walker,& Texas Ranger. in 2004, she was discovered by disney channel and had guest apparences in Hannah Montana, and the Suite Life. Then starred in her own tv show Wizards of waverly place. in 2008 she started acting in hit movies like Another Cinderella story and all that stuff..

She started in Barney then she auditioned for Wizards when she was 11 or 12 and they made her star in shows like the Suite Life and Hannah Montana before they started filming.

I think she auditioned for the part of Alex in wizards of waverly place and went from there !

She was on Barney as a little kid, I think. so I guess it went from there.
