Pass interference defense. Spot the ball half the distance of the goal. Automatic first down. That's what that ref shoulda said.

Niners vs Packers in the playoffs... Feels like the 90's again... I just hope the Niners have better luck against Rodgers than they had against Favre.
Posted over a year ago
Yeah really. We had the no.1 defense two of those years in the 90s when we faced GB and it still didn't matter. Makes me mad to this day!over a year ago
I had the immense pleasure of interviewing former 49ers coach Dick Vermeil about his wine, winning a Super Bowl, and how to form a perfect team, for a great documentary. Check it out!
NOBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn that was a fun game to watch! And the stares I got for wearing a Gore jersey around here... PRICELESS!!!!over a year ago
Great game! But hey, my heart goes out to Mark Sanchez. I mean, he was booed in his own home field, and the fans were at one point chanting Tebow's name. Where have we, us 49ers fans, seen that before?.....
so true, I gotta admit, even I was pretty hard on Alex Smith a few years back. But next week is special to me. The Niners up against my hometown Bills. Once again it's pretty much me vs the city of Buffalo... again. Go Niners!!! Give me some braggin' rights!over a year ago
Not to mention, they were always on tv here. In the early 90's the Niners were head liners. Don't get me wrong, so were the Bills but no one I grew up living with liked them. My step dad and older step bro were Raiders fans. My lil step bro likes the Dolphins cause of the Ace Ventura movie, and my step sis is a Cowboys/Giants fan... Idk how she lives with herself either. jk. but yeah. I'd say that's why.rselfover a year ago
Ohhh ok. Well that's kinda how my family is but I do live in California. Most of my family (including my dad) are 49ers fans and some of my cousins are Raider fans and they bring dishonor because of it. jk lolover a year ago
well hopefully Akers doesn't get called for an illegal block during kickoffs. I swear, I'm a Niners fan, but my heart is bleeding for Packers fans right now cause they got ripped.over a year ago
I KNOW!!! The Packers got screwed last night!!! And you know what? This WILL effect the WHOLE NFC. Because if the Seahawks end up going to the playoffs becuase of that ONE GAME, the NFC will get robbed. All teams. Weather its because they win the NFC West, or because they get a Wild Card spot by one game. The NFC Will get robbed!over a year ago
Absolutely, just think if it comes down to the division and it comes back to screw the Niners out of a Divisional title. I'll be pissed. But what's even worse is that the NFL is actually backing up the decision!over a year ago
Well of course they will. They expect us to forgive and forget. But no one will forgive and forget. Only Seahawks fans that don't see what should of really happened.over a year ago
lol just woke up and turned ESPN on. They may have "supported that decision" but they ended that lock out just in time for thursday night XDover a year ago
Just a win against Green Bay dude. Been YEARS since we beat them, and the first time I've seen them beat the Packers in my life XD (I'm young ok? lol)over a year ago
Dude Niners could have gone to like 2 or 3 more superbowls in the late 90's if it wasn't for Green Bay. And I'm 26 and that was the first road win the niners had against them since I was 4 years old.over a year ago
No doubt but I'm looking forward to the next game. Especially after what happened last season. The game against the Lions is probably gonna get really physical.over a year ago
We should have beaten them there in 1996 on MNF but were screwed on a bogus TD that G.B. "scored." Awesome way to start this season though! We are the best in football, period!over a year ago
Tough loss... That fumble on the punt return in regulation was a bullet in the foot and the one in OT was a knife through the heart... One hell of a season though. Definately something to build on.over a year ago
Mistakes... Our own screw-ups. That's what it was. The Giants didn't beat the Niners, The Niners beat the Niners. Hey, I can't complain though. They make the playoffs for the first time in almost ten years, Beat Brees and the Saints, and make it to the Conference title game, where they took their opponents in to OT. The only thing I'm really kinda mad about is.... We would've beaten New England. Anwho, I can't wait till September. now.over a year ago
Well then. 49ers vs Giants next Sunday, winner goes to the Super Bowl. I have to say this game will be kinda weird for me because......my girlfriend is a New York Giants fan.....

1981: Joe Montana to Dwight Clark: The Catch.
1998: Steve Young to Terrell Owens: The Catch II.
January 14, 2012: Alex Smith to Vernon Davis: The Grab.
I wasn't alive when The Catch happen. I was only 2 when The Catch II happen. Yesterday I witness The Grab. A play that I can say "I saw it. I saw it." :)

I wasn't watching our team during the first catch yet, but I was watching during the catch 2. I am so glad you were able to see the latest one!over a year ago
Congratulations to kicker David Akers, safety Dashon Goldson, running back Frank Gore, punter Andy Lee, cornerback Carlos Rogers, defensive tackle Justin Smith, tackle Joe Staley and inside linebacker Patrick Willis for being selected to participate in the 2012 Pro Bowl!

Merry Christmas Niner fans! We face Seattle today, just gotta win today, beat the Rams next week then we go to the playoffs! Come Niners!!

Alright guys, if the 49ers win at lease 1 more game, and the if the Saints lose at lease 1 more game, we will clinched the first round bye!
Posted over a year ago
Yep! But the Niners made a statement last night. Rothlisberger hurt or not! A win over the Steelers was HUGE! I'm not worried about N.O. though. Niners just gotta do what they've been doing best at. Just being like Charlie Sheen. WINNING!over a year ago
If I had to guess how the 49ers will end this regular season....I say 12-4. They will either lose the game aganist the Steelers or Seahawks (Mostly Seahawks since we face them at their house) and I say we will beat the Rams. So they win 2 out of the 3 games. I hope they get the 2nd seed though cuz if we face the Saints at their home it going to be hella hard. Drew Brews plays best at home and the Saints are unbeaten at home this year (so far.)

I'll Just get these out of the way...The last 4 games of the regular season... LET'S GO NINERS!!!
Cut down the Cards
Slash the Steelers
Dismantle Seattle
and St. Louis has the Rams, but Week 17, they'll only have the Blues. XD

My aunt's a Steelers fan and so is one of my friends. There's alot of bragging rights on the line for that one. Should be a great game though.over a year ago
They can't play the Packers in the Superbowl. They're both NFC. Maybe Niners vs Pats, or Ravens. The AFC is so close this year. Maybe even Pittsburgh, or Houston!over a year ago
Yeah it would. It may end up being the NFC championship though. But in a way I hope it doesn't go down like that. Green Bay is the one team that worries me. The Niners are a strong road team but they've never had much success against the Packers. Especially in Green Bay, and even more especially, in the playoffs. But upsets do happen, so I'm hoping Green Bay gets knocked out quick. As far as the Superbowl goes, I'd wanna see them play a team who hasn't been there. This way both teams are feeling the same "first superbowl" pressure.over a year ago
Finally! The Thanksgiving game is coming up! 49ers vs Ravens this Thursday! I've been looking for this game all season long. And I really hope the Niners win cuz one of my friends at school is a Ravens fan. Lol, so LETS GO NINERS! :D
Posted over a year ago
I'm so sorry that they lost. Not really, I'm a Ravens fan, and I was there. But I do like the 49ers, they are my second favorite team, and they really did play a good game. They fought, their defense was really good. But in the end, you can't beat the Ravens at home.over a year ago
Yeah, I kind of predicted this happening... But the only other loss I see the Niners taking this year is at Seattle. The Seahawks always have seem to have our number up there at Qwest Field. Other than that we should have the division clinched this Sunday. Poetic... We win the division and clinch a playoff spot at home against the SAME OL' RAMS! lol XD had too....over a year ago
Ok... I know we got a bye and it's early but... I don't care... GO NINERS!!!! TIME TO MAKE THE BROWNS LOOK LIKE CLOWNS!!! - shouldn't be too hard to do. XD
Posted over a year ago
They sure did. That was ridiculous. And of course Dallas got a break when they got the 3rd down to do over thanks to the bogus penalty on us!over a year ago
Who's ready for some football !?! AUG 12, NINERS @ SAINTS. It's a pre-season game but at least there IS gonna be football this year.
