Chapter 1: Feelings
It was a cool autumn day in Manchester when Dan and Phil decided they would move from Manchester to London. “Phil” cried Dan. “Its 12:00pm get up sleepy head!” Phil opened his big blue eyes and yawned. “I’m awake Dan!” Phil managed to shout. “Can I come in” Dan asked. “Sure” Phil replied. Dan walked in Phil’s room still with his messy “Hobbit hair” has he liked to call it an sat down on Phil’s bed. “I have been thinking Phil….” Dan started. Phil’s mind suddenly went to a ridiculous though of Dan admitting he was in love with him. Phil has never told anyone but ever sense he became close to Dan has a friend he been starting to maybe care for Dan too much but maybe it was just his little head over-thinking. “Y-yes Dan” Phil said a little too jittery. “Calm your tits Phil!” Dan said jokingly. “It was just I wanted a change from Manchester a London seems like a pleasant place. “ Phil thought “Oh no please don’t consider moving out I’ll be lonely and I won’t see you has often”. “Wait!” Phil exclaimed out loud. “What?” asked a confused Dan. “N-nothing” Phil said has he blushed a little. “Why did I even think that?, what the heck Phil? Get yourself together! You can Skype him anytime you would like!” Phil thought to Himself. “I want to move to London Phil” Dan said. “FUCK” Phil also said out loud making the situation more awkward then it already was. “You ok Phil?” Dan asked confusingly. “Yea sorry I just got up and I’ll just be kind of lonely when you move.” Phil said finally feeling like himself again. Dan laughed “I guess you’ll enjoy having this tiny apartment to yourself huh?” Dan was joking but Phil took it seriously. “Why can’t I come?” Phil said trying not to sound sad. “You can, we have been living together for about 2 years now best friends have to stick together am I right?” Phil felt for some awkward reason relived that he could move with his best buddy to London. Dan only thought of Phil has a best friend, but lately Phil has been feeling a little strange around Dan and still can’t figure out why he feels like this. “So I can move with you?” Phil said in an overly excited voice that threw Dan off a little. “Y-yea…just don’t act like this when we get to London ok?” Dan said in a joking manner. “Sorry “ Phil said shyly .
Next day……..
“I think we need a new wardrobe “Dan said to Phil. “Yea that sounds good, how about we go to the furniture store down the street?” Phil asked. “Great let’s go!” exclaimed Dan. Then they spent about an hour looking for the right wardrobe. When they returned they started packing and telling friends an family they are moving to London. “Why are you moving there with Phillip you’re both out of school now?” Asked Dan’s mom when he was on the phone with her. “Mom he is my best friend me an him make videos together an it wouldn’t be the same to our fans if we parted” Dan said back to his mother. Phil suddenly felt a little upset by hearing this “wouldn’t be the same to our fans?” asked Phil out loud to himself. He suddenly felt a little used an unwanted but wasn’t sure why. “Hey Dan” Phil said once Dan got off the phone. “Yes Phil” Dan said. “I-I…I was wondering why we were moving together?” Dan looked puzzled. “Phil, you don’t want to move together? If that’s what you want then ok we will move separately but I get the wardrobe”. Dan said half joking. “N-no I just want to know if your just friends with me because of our fans.” Phil managed out. ‘What the fuck Phil , why would you even ask that I love you buddy” Dan said . Phil blushed for some reason an for a moment almost just almost wanted to say the same thing but instead……”D-d-d-dan yo-u-ur g-gay fo-r-r m-e-e-e?” Phil asked stuttering so much it was almost un-understandable. “Dan laughed Hell no Phil I love you has a best friend “. An unfourtunly for Phil he ONLY meant it has a friend……..for now…. Phil felt kind of down for some reason. “I love you “Phil said to himself has he was packing up. “Why did I blush? I mean I know I’m Bi-sexual well actually I don’t really label myself but I mean not for Dan…I think” Phil said that out loud. “Oh shit!” Phil thought to himself “what was the I think part doing in that sentence??!!” . Phil was developing something more than a simple “friendly feeling” an Phil himself didn’t want to admit it but he knew he was .
That night ……
“Oh come on Phil get to sleep so what if you might like Dan a little too much just don’t tell him an try an get over it” Phil said quietly to himself in his bed trying to get some sleep. “Phil?” Dan suddenly called. “Y-ea.” Phil said awkwardly. Dan walked in with hobbit hair an wearing just a shirt an boxers. “Phil are you ok? “ Dan asked. “Yea just flustered about moving all of a sudden”.”Ok good” Dan said “I thought you were sick or depressed or something”. Dan said unsurely. Phil wanted to explain his weird behaviour for the past month but was scared of what Dan might think. “D-an” Phil said softly an before Dan could answer Phil said out loud “I might have the slightest crush on you I’m sorry” Dan was in shock an walked out of the room without even closing the door.
