Everyone loses weight differently. I use to do the exercises blogilates does on her YouTube channel.I lost around 7 pounds for my senior prom. I do recommend you do check out her channel but her workouts are rigorous.
Heres the link to her channel:

Pasta and white bread are awful, they will definitely put on the pounds. Don't do it.

Sit ups and press ups are good for the stomach, and press ups are also good for the upper body (arms/shoudlers/etc). Stretches are great, especially for warming up and cooling up. Long walks/short runs are great too.
Also, try to manage your diet in the next few months. Eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables (not tinned), lean meat, brown bread and pulses (lentils, etc). Try to cut down on sweets, chocolate and crisps (potato chips, if you are American).

Okay then, maybe consider eating some of the food you eat in fasting in your day-to-day life - all the high energy stuff you need to get through the day. Would that help, do you think? Eat high energy stuff in small portions, maybe?1

On the top of my head, you could go out and ride a bike each day. Don't know if that's an "effective" way to loose calories and weight but if you want easy, it's a good thing to do.

Try to avoid carbs
Go for runs
Don't minimize the amount of food you eat, cuz that'll just make you gain weight
Drinks lots of water
Avoid sugar as much as you can. I mean a little ice cream or a piece of cake or something is okay. Just not too much of sugars.
Jumping jacks
Cherry pickers
