You are young and if he is the same age it could be love or just emotions caused by changes a teen age boy's body goes through. First, as it's been said, be honest with him about how you feel. If you are not sure how you feel, tell him that. Remember, there is no need to rush. You can take your time to figure this out. It's one of those things that lots of us have gone through. Talk with friends and or family. Just be true to yourself, and you'll figure out you feel in time. Good luck.
It can be love. People just say their friends to get closer and know more about u. Also coz they're scared incase you'll reject them. Then they tell u they love u. (I been in the same situation).
