Should I go on the trip?

My school is having a trip that costs 40 DOLLARS. And while I have no interest in it, I hear everyone's going and I'm gonna be the only one in my grade in school. (Well, there are a few but a small few) Should I go? I really hate my school for being so cheap like this and no way am I paying 40 dollars for that (I have the money though) but I don't want to remain at school with just a few people in my grade.
What should I do?

I had this before too because at my school a recent trip was total shat- idk to the superglue factory or something...-_-

Anyways, I think the way to look at it is would you rather spend 40 dollars and go on a trip with everyone else you know, that you don't like the sound of but might turn out to be great..
or stay at school and do what ever idk- they normally take it easy on you when everyone else is on trips, but get that for free.
I think you should talk to your parents about it, but its definitely up to you. you're the one who would be going on the trip, so you should decide for yourself or you might make the wrong decision.
When ever i hear of a trip i seriously dont like the sound of, i dont go. but if theres a chance i'll like it i'll go anyways just incase its really good, and to get me out of school for the day, and so i can have a nice day out with my friends i dont normally get to see all at once. it may also help to ask other people in your class whether or not theyre going. talk to your parents about it and take their advice, if you're really stuck.

Don't go. You could spend your $40 better somewhere else. And during class, you're not going to have to do anything, because there won't be any other kids there. So just take a good book, or a pen and paper, and enjoy a day off school for free!

I know that, I'm just saying you won't be doing school work, so it wouldn't really feel like a school day at all.

I'll avoid mentioning the trip place for obvious reasons, and I'm one of those loner type of people at school

I personally would go, just to get the day away from school and if my friends are going I definitely would. Who knows, you could have great memories.

Uh...I wouldn't go if I had no interest and if I had something better to spend my 40 dollars on. I would bring my notebook and write my novel some more, or a good book or something.

HAHAHA no.

Waste of $40, if you ask me, depending on where they were going. Plus, when there aren't as many people at the school, usually you do fun stuff while everybody else is gone.

I wouldn't go if I have no interest in a culture or in an activity whatsoever.
And I wouldn't BE paying 40$ dollars if I don't have the mone for it, especially from asking your parents, that earned mone does not come easily.
Your school does sound like a drag but mine isn't as bad, though my school doesn't have us pay for anything more than what you have to for going on a trip, my school PTA already pays for every special event so basically I get off scott free.
Its better staying at school than having to worry about more people around you, plus you don't have to do work if you stay behind, that's one good thing.
I feel bad for you but that's the way schools are in different states.

The answer mainly dpends on where you're going. If t's to like, Seaworld (off the top of my head) and you like Seaworld, then go. If it's to like, Walmart (again, top of my head) then you don't. It really depends on the place. If it was Busche Gardens, h311 yeah I would go! :3D
