How do adults whatch presidential speeches?

I'm suppose to watch at LEAST twenty minutes of this and I'm already bored to tears. I know there important and all but..... I'M SO FAWKING BORED!!!! And then my mom says, "Your to young to understand, you'll get it when your older." -_-' I'm thirteen. I've read two Stephen King books. I got those. I watched "Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni" while my mom was watching "Adventure Time" (My mom likes cartoon, I like gorey animes)So I'm pretty sure I'm not *THAT* imature. Its not that I dont understand the *speeches*... I just don't understand why anyone would want to *watch* them.
There important yeah, but good God I want to claw my eardrums out so I odn't have to listen to this TOTURE anymore! I'm so bored! DX

I guess I'm technically an ~adult, and I watch as many of the president's speeches as I can because they are really important to understand everything that's going on with the country and the world. If you know the background of what he's talking about, it's much more interesting, I'm never bored listening to his speeches, they are very interesting and informative, IMO.

Because it's the best way to find out what's going on in the country from the head honcho. They're actually pretty interesting. Sure, you can't believe everything the president says, but it's a hell lot more truthful and unbiased than news stations.
